This place worked for us. Recommended if you and your significant other want to bring your dog to the beach.

Before renting this property, you should be aware of:
- No cable TV provider but we used Video App memberships to watch shows on the Roku TV.
- Parking, especially on weekends is horrendous, as there is no reserved parking spots and you compete with all other public beach goers. Suggest owner provide off street parking pass or pave spots on private property for renters.
- No dishwasher, but not a big deal if you are going out for meals.
- Bring your own coffee mug as there are only small cups provided.
- Palm Blvd is an extremely busy beach street so backing out of parking spots can be very challenging.

Overall, no complaints on our short 3 day weekend.

We had a very good experience in the apartment. I really appreciated the communication and promptness from Island Realty and their maintenance crew. My only negative feedback is there is no cable TV, and the WIFI is spotty.

I didn't expect luxury when it comes to a VRBO on the beach at this price, but I will say that I expected a little more than what we found when we arrived. It was a really great location, and I loved that we were able to bring our three Golden Retrievers to stay with us at this property. For a beach trip, all you really need is a place to sleep and shower, and that's what this was.

The property was not dirty, but I wouldn't say it was clean, either. Lots of dust and cobwebs in the corners and around the AC vents, but the kitchen and bathrooms were all very clean - again, that's probably what's most important.

I could nitpick over things like the busted tiles on the floor, the spotty internet (likely because the cables were lying on top of the sand in front of the door), and the fact that the bad internet connections caused the TV to be unwatchable. There were no local channels able to be viewed, only a Roku setup for streaming which with spotty internet worked only well enough to aggravate you when trying to watch.

The bed was, however, the worst part of the whole stay. It sagged in the middle so badly that my wife and I were rolling into the center of the bed. It was so uncomfortable that several nights I ended up sleeping on the couch (which was fantastic for sleeping, by the way).

It was a nice vacation. The little town is quite boring, but the beaches are nice. If you want to do anything other than play on the dog-friendly leashless beach, then you'll be disappointed in this town overall. But, if all you want is a beach and a place to crash, it'll do. Again, I won't complain because they did allow us to bring our pets which many do not, and it was a good price. We got what we paid for. But next time, I would definitely pay more for something nicer if the property would accommodate our three goldens. To their credit, they were nearly the only place on the island that would allow us to have more than two pets during our stay

We loved it. The cottage was private and just the pictures of the place. The beach literally acrossthe street. Great place to dine on the IOP. The staff was very friendly and genuine. Plenty to do, great experience. Thank you.

This was a perfect place to stay especially as a last minute find. It was comfortable and had everything we needed plus it was super close to the beach. There really was no negative but the only thing was the beach access directly across from the unit was very “marshy”. So it made for a dirty walk to and from the beach but there was another access about half a block down the street that was just fine. Overall a great place to stay and I would definitely stay again!

The unit is across the street from the beach. It’s on the main road so traffic is busy but cars do stop to cross over to get to the beach. The beach is very wide and long and takes a few minutes to walk to the shore. You are close to shopping and restaurants. We brought our bicycles so road to amenities. The one bedroom unit was clean and fine for two people. The furnishings were a bit worn but it was also dog friendly. Only had complaints: the outside grill was not cleaned out (which I called about and cigarettes were removed but used charcoal was not) and the outside yard needed cleaning up. Would have liked to walk dog in back yard but there was debris, wood, and other broken items out back. Parking could be a problem as the parking spots are not assigned to the property but are open to anyone going to the beach so if you happen to leave with your car in the day you may not have a place to park directly at the house.

Multi-generational family 1st time family visit to Charleston. This place had everything we needed, plus having the concierge services was icing on the cake! We rented units A and C. They were spacious, nicely decorated, kitchens were stocked with kitchenware (we cooked quite a bit). The across-the-street beach access was a HUGE plus, because we were there practically every day! The concierge made sure our chair and umbrella rentals were on-site each day, the rental price is reasonable, and we were billed accurately!

We loved the little downtown area with the storefront restaurants, liquor and grocery store. But our absolute favorite is the Isle of Palms Marina area. We were pleasantly surprised at the food and service at the Marina restaurant and the views are incredible! So pleasantly surprised and will plan on using Island Realty again!

This apartment was perfect for the 2 of us. We loved that it was an easy walk to the beach and that there was nobody above or below us. (It's part of a bigger house but kind of off to the side.)

The bathroom wasn't 100% clean... some hairs on the floor and the toilet was a bit dirty. There was also only one mirror in the whole place so it'd be nice to have another. The 2nd bedroom is pretty much just a big closet, although that was perfect for what we needed.

The property folks were great. Super easy check-in and check-out and very responsive to the few requests we had for more towels, broom, etc.

Would definitely go back!!

Had a fantastic time staying at this adorable duplex located directly across the street from a beach access path! The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, there was plenty of parking and we were very close to a park that we can bring our dog to to play. Perfect for a couple or small family. We definitely stay here again.
