Super cozy beach condo, less than two minute walk to the beach, private fishing pier and private beach access. Pool was great, and washing stations. Placed all throughout property to clean items when coming back from the beach. Condo was cozy, super clean and had smart TVs. Great condo we can get away with beach views from the porch! Coming back again soon!

I have been coming to Isle of Palms for years. We always enjoy the area and our condo was perfect for our stay. It’s minutes from eating, shopping, and of course a quick walk to the beach. The room was clean, mostly updated and provided everything we needed to make our stay most pleasurable.

This was a girls trip, our 3rd year here at Sea Cabins. All in all the room was nice, the furniture could use some good spot cleaning. The negative thing we experienced was as soon as you walked in the place had a smell, it was im sure intended to be "air freshener" but overbearing like patchouli. There were 3 of us and one has very sensitive allergies to smells like candles, air fresheners, and colonges. We looked every knook and cranny over to find where this scent was coming from, we looked in vents, under chairs everywhere and could not locate it. Needless to say she had to sleep on the sofa couch with the door cracked to let fresh air in, with her epi pen beside her hoping she would not have a really bad reaction. Most of her time we were in the room she spent out on the balcony. We stripped bed covers and placed them in garbage bags tied up because we finally sniffed out the smell to be like some type of oil or spray on the bunk beds comforters, however the smell was something that wouldnt go away so it must have been imbedded in most of the fabric in the unit. I just want to make anyone aware of this because this smell did not got away and she could only handle being in the room if we had door open to add fresh air. I am not sensitive to things like this and it was a bit much for me! If it was my unit I'd strip everything in it fabric and replace it.

The condo was great!! We loved the unit. The view was absolutely perfect. The kitchen was freshly re-done with all the cooking essentials you need. If you plan on cooking in you might want to take your coffee filters , coffee, seasonings, foil, etc.,but the Harris Teeter is within walking distance across the way.and it is easier to pick up things there. The bed was amazing, so comfortable!! We asked to find out what mattress they purchased so we could get one at home. This unit is perfect for 2-4 people/children.

Staying at the Isle of Palms is so relaxing! The unit we stayed in was nice but the kitchen supplies need to be inventoried. New pans needed for cooking along with cooking pot holders. (We brought pot holders and left in unit for the next guest). The couch and chair needs some deep cleaning. Stains noted. Deep cleaning along the baseboards are in order. Stains noted on some of the extra blankets that were in the closet. The shower was great!! Can't wait to visit again!!

EVEN THOUGH IAN WAS IN THE GULF WE STILL WENT DOWN TO ISLE OF PALMS. WE WERE TO BE THERE MONDAY THRU THURSDAY. MONDAY EVENING WAS GREAT, SUNNY AND BRIGHT.
TUESDAY WAS ALSO GREAT, BUT THE SUN DISAPPEARED IN THE AFTERNOON. WEDNESDAY WAS ALSO GREAT BUT GRAY SKIES AND THE WAVES PICKED UP.THURSDAY SAW THE BEACH DISAPPEAR TO ABOUT 5 FEET WIDE AS THE STORM WAS NOW COMING OVER INTO THE ATLANTIC. THAT NIGHT MY WIFE AND I DECIDED TO FOREGO OUR LAST NIGHT AND LEFT GOING TO OUR DAUGHTERS HOUSE IN LEXINGTON, SC. EVEN THOUGH WE HAD TO LEAVE EARLY IT WAS STILL A GREAT TRIP AND I WOULD DO IT AGAIN.

The check-in couldn’t have been smoother. I found the condo to be very cute but smaller than it looked. Because it was just me, it was fine. It was very clean and had everything I needed. It was a convenient location. I would love to go back and highly recommend for 1 or 2 adults.

The mattress in the bedroom could stand replacing and the bathroom paint was chipping. Other than that it was in good order. This was our 5th time to stay in various sea cabins at IOP. Very convenient and perfect for short vacations.

It is a beautiful unit,well laid out. We liked that the new fitted bottom sheets stayed put,as well as being comfortable. The new top sheets were long enough to stay tucked in. Mattress was uncomfortable and our backs were always sore. Was clean, bright and full of light. Airy and light colors.

The unit has been updated and is bright and cheerful. It has a nice view of the ocean. Kitchen was adequately equipped. Beware if anyone is sleeping on the sofa bed that the mattress is lumpy and you feel the springs. We brought a foam topper with us to use on it. Also it is not quite long enough for an adult. The unit has good AC. The TV was large but it was confusing on which remotes to use. We would rent this unit again.

The sea cabin we rented was very tastefully and nicely done. We felt right at home while we were there. We had guests for most of the time we were there, and they all felt the same way we did about the sea cabin.
Unusual year, since we normally don't have so many guests, and that it was the beginning of covid-19. Was a little different at time.

The place was clean and had what you needed. The view was lovely. Unfortunately we didn’t sleep for a week and had back pain until we got home. The beds that were so uncomfortable where the bed in the bedroom and the pull out couch that my children slept on. I send a text to the office regarding this and got no reply.

Please note that at anytime during your stay you can call and ask to speak to a manager if you feel you are not getting the service you require. It is unfortunate that you did not sleep well. Sleeping is a very personal comfort level gauge, some people like a firm mattress and some prefer a softer one. It is very difficult to have both requirements in a condo. I had an amazing vacation. This home had everything I needed & more!! On arrival is was very clean. The location & view was perfect. Enjoyed coffee on the balcony each day. This particular unit gets the morning sun & that is a good thing. Everything I could need was provided. I slept like a baby. I found the bed to be very comfy. My only complaints would be the mattress on the couch & the curtains for the sliding doors. The curtains do not cover the door. This is an issue at night & early in the morn, especially if someone is sleeping in the pull out sofa. Those are easy fixes that would make a difference. Overall it was great & I would definitely stay here again. Island Realty was great to work with & took care of everything for us. They took care of chair & umbrella rental for the week. That was great. They were set up & taken down each day & I will use that on all future trips!! The pool & pier were a fantastic personally been a difficult year & I was seeking a peaceful stay at my
favorite place. It was perfect!!!! Thank you to everyone involved. Note: we did have an issue with being able to get out of the property & across to the connector due to traffic entering the park blocking the road. It took over 45 min to go that short distance. Traffic control at the park entrance would be beneficial.

Our location was quiet and restful everything we needed to prepare our own meals and equipment available to enjoy the beach fully. Beautiful view. It felt safe personally the only negative was the stairs. We were in 2nd floor and with bum knees it was a bit difficult. In retrospect we should have asked for an Accesable unit was available.

The condo was situated in the perfect location. There was shopping and great restaurants within walking distance. My family enjoyed fishing from the private pier during our stay and appreciated that we were just a few steps from the beach. Our condo was fine for a short stay, but I was disappointed to see that none of the suggestions from previous reviewers had been addressed. The sofa mattress was terrible and unable to be slept on comfortably. Every drawer in the dresser in the master was broken and unable to be used. Unfortunate considering there is no floor space for luggage. There were only two panels of curtains for the sliding door which made the sunrise in the morning way too bright throughout the condo for anyone who would be sleeping on the couch or bunks. Two more panels should be added. The bunk beds had no safety rails or ladder, which renders the top bunk useless. The property itself was nice and clean, just wish the unit would’ve been as pristine. Overall a great place to visit, but I would not choose this unit unless these issues are corrected.

While there were amazing views, the condo itself was in need of a few repairs. The vinyl floor in the bathroom was starting to come up. The bathroom needs to be painted, and the bedroom dresser is old, broken and needs to be replaced. The property wasn’t well cleaned, but after reporting this a cleaning person came and cleaned. Management provided good customer service with another problem I had. I’ve stayed at better Sea Cabins before.

We have stayed in Sea Cabins many times. Always love the location. This unit had several small issues that could be easily resolved. Curtains of sliding door not wide enough to completely cover. Blind not long enough to cover all of window. Bathroom sink not draining well. Battery nearly dead in thermostat. Stovetop coming apart. Phone did not work. No hair dryer! No sheets for bunks. Dirty pillows. Only 2 teaspoons we could find. Just needs some TLC.

We had an excellent time in this sea cabin. The master bed was comfortable and overall the apartment was clean and well kept. My kids LOVED the two bunk beds. They slept in them at night and made a fort to read in during the day. My only complaint is that the sleeper sofa was completely uncomfortable. No one could sleep in it. You expect some discomfort but this was by far the most uncomfortable sleeper we've ever tried.

The apartment is always spotless. It is decorated beautifully. Very comfortable and we love sitting on our balcony and watching the ocean. My husband especially likes to watch the pelicans fly overhead. The most he has counted at one time is 24 flying in a row.

Enjoyed 240C the sofa was not comfortable but I've never sat on a sleeper sofa that was. The kitchen was well stocked but could use a new frying pan. I borrowed one from neighbors and returned before leaving. But in all it was a great unit.

A Great Week by the Ocean with Family & Friends

We had a great week in our Sea Cabin - our best selection of cabins yet!!! The Sea Cabin was clean, updated and maintained well. The decorating was inviting. The view of the Ocean was great sitting on high metal chairs on the balcony. The proximity to the Pool and Ocean is great. The pool area is always clean. Convenient shops nearly and BUBBA the Parrot is waiting for you. He said "HI" to us this year! My daughter loves the nearly Ben & Jerry's for her late night cooling off. For breakfast we would recommend Sea Biscuit, Coconut Joe's & Page's Okra Grill and Taco Mamacita's, Boathouse, Salt at Station 22, & Dunleavy's Pub for lunch/dinner & drinks. Also, one of our favorites is Red's "All You Can Eat Crab legs" on Monday nights in the Shem Creek area. The singer was very good that night. We even got to see dolphins while waiting for our table. We go to Downtown Charleston which is very easy to get to. Could spend days down there! Mt. Pleasant is filled with nice restaurants and things to do and Boone Hall Plantation is right there. We will be back and would be happy to stay in Sea Cabin 240 C once again :)

Thank you for sending us such a Great review!! There is so much to do here on the Isle of Palms and we are so glad that Bubba the Parrot welcomed you as well, he is quite a character! I hope the next time you need some ocean time, or your daughter misses her nightly cool off at Ben & Jerry's, you and your family will come back and join us here at Island Realty and the Sea Cabins.

Our accommodations were lovely. 1st couple refreshing cool but by Monday began to heat up. Latest we've stayed will request same unit at least by 3rd week March to April. As also Sea Cabins absolute favorite place to stay. Wonderful and accomadating staff !!

We were on IOP for only 3 nights to visit family and wish we had booked for longer! The condo was decorated in bright colors and was updated and very comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony, using the pool and walking on the beach.

We had a wonderful time during our 1 week stay. When we first arrived and opened the door we smelled what we thought was mold, but that quickly dissipated and we never smelled it again. The unit was definitely clean and well-furnished. And the location is fantastic, with wonderful views of the beach and sunrises. We'll definitely come again!

Very busy weekend for Sea Cabins. Parking was a major issue and not well addressed by the security staff on site. We returned from an early dinner to find no parking available. That is unacceptable as a renter. Towing should have been enforced. As a renter, I did not expect to be told there's nothing we can do about it.

Wonderful week with beautiful weather! The beds were uncomfortable but it was only a week. The chair and umbrella rentals were a great deal! Very convenient location.

We rented this Sea Cabin over Memorial Day weekend. It was ok, but I was a bit disappointed overall. We rent Sea Cabins at least 2 times per year, but had not stayed in this one before. The pictures make it look nice, but the furniture is very worn out and uncomfortable, the drapes on the sliding glass door do not close, therefore sleeping on the pull out couch is almost impossible unless you want to be up at 4:30 every morning. The toaster only toasts one side of bread at a time, the cabinets were chipping and peeling. Compared to the other "deluxe" units we have stayed in, I would not put this one in the same category. The staff was great, the property in general was great as usual, but I would not recommend this particular unit to friends and family.

The condo was nice, updated with new countertops and nice wallpaper, but in need of a refresh--paint was chipping, etc. The location couldn't be beat. It was incredible to wake up to the warm ocean breeze and beautiful view every morning. The pool was closed for two days due to maintenance and the pool at the other rental across the street was also closed, and that was a real bummer for my 9 year old daughter. It also was quite loud on Friday night with people drinking and leaving bars--lots of loud yelling, car alarms beeping, etc etc. Aside from that we felt very safe in the rental.

This unit was outfitted with brand new mattresses this year in order to resolve this issue!

All Sea Cabin units face the ocean. This unit has its furniture professionally cleaned twice a year in addition to standard cleanings between each guest. If ever needed, it can receive additional cleaning at any point.

We are interested in having bikes - Are they available through this property?

While we do not provide bikes for our guests, we recommend IOP Beach Chair Company for local bike rentals! You can order bikes through our concierge service or directly from their website.
