This elevated Low Country beach home is surrounded by lush tropical landscaping, and is located one short block to easy beach access and miles of beautiful beach. The tropical landscaping includes fruit bearing banana, orange, lime, and tangelo trees. Enjoy the afternoon sun in the 30' long x 13' wide, elevated, Gunite pool which is accented by extensive IPE decking. Pool is 4' deep in the shallow end and 6' deep at the other end. The first floor of the interior offers an open living and dining area with direct access to a large covered deck and wood floors throughout. Adjacent to the living and dining area is a beautiful open kitchen with granite tops, stainless appliances, and an attached laundry room. On the second floor is a large master bedroom with direct access to a renovated master bath, a private covered balcony patio, and attached room perfect for a nursery area. The second floor bedrooms are carpeted. Great floor plan and layout for dual families with children! Jacuzzi tub in master bath does not work. The home is has wireless internet and YouTube TV via Roku TV's. So feel free to watch YouTube TV or login into any of your favorite streaming channels.. Other features include: ceiling fans in every room, and a charcoal grill. Fireplace not available for use. No smoking. No pets.

We had 10 people ages 4 to 87 and all loved this house! Good space, lots of steps if you have elderly. Would love to have full length mirrors in each bedroom and hooks on bathroom doors for towels. Pool man came on Thursday, I think, and didn't finish the cleaning. Never turned the filter back on. So that is another improvement that could be made. Also, the garbage cans were placed in front of driveway so had to get put and move them to pull in. We would rent again! A lot of space and loved the large front porch. Only 90 steps to beach access #3 but the beach is narrow and when it is high tide, your chairs will be in water.

Overall, it was a very satisfying weekend at the beach. There is plenty of room and beds for everyone. I will still give it a five-star review but something needs to be done about the Mr Coffee. It leaked terribly on every pot of coffee we made—just a heads up.

We love this neighborhood on IOP! The location is awesome, and the house is great for our family. The only negative is that the house was not very clean. The mattress pads and bedspreads smelled musty - obviously they have not been washed. And there was trash left in the kitchen trash can.

Found the unit to be in very clean condition. As the time went on we found that the bedroom with the over under bed remained very hot even to the point of not being able to sleep because of the heat. Only give 4 stars due to the lack of use of the one bedroom due to the cooling problem.

We enjoyed our stay at Charleston Blvd 211. We had a few maintenance requests and they were professional and timely. I would recommend that you contact the owner and secure the ladder for the bunk bed on main floor the way the one is on top floor.

This was the second of two houses rented near each other for a family reunion. The stairs made it difficult for an elderly member, and the space was not as good as the other house for large group meals. One of the king bedrooms has an extra room and desk, good for someone who needs to work.

We rented this house along with 209 Charleston for our fall break trip with 5 families, and we couldn’t have asked for better houses! We have been going to IOP for 20 years and this house is one of our favorites.
This house is beautiful, well appointed, lots of room and comfy beds, the porch was amazing and where we spent most of our time. The pool looked nice but we weren’t able to use is due to debris from the hurricane that hit before we came. Access to the beach was a short walk. We had everything we needed to cook and we cooked a lot for 24 people! The appliance were nice and we appreciated the ice and water in the refrigerator door.
Just a few things that would make a guest stay a little better,
A new, full size broom. We like to clean while we are there, and the broom that is there is tiny and very wore out, it just really didn’t do any good. So we pulled out the vacuum which is a nice shark, but it smelled so bad we were all gagging, it needs a good cleaning and a filter change. A multipurpose or glass cleaner would be nice to wipe down counters and surfaces. If you use detergent pods in the washer they just gather in the rubber seal and don’t resolve, we didn’t use them but apparently the people before us did, it may need a sign on it cautioning people not to use them. And lastly a gas grill would be nice. None of this is a deal breaker, we absolutely would rent the house again and are in the process of making plans to do so, but just thought that info might be helpful! We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to go back, thank you for sharing this lovely house!

Wonderful House!

We rented this house and the one next door (209) for a multiple family fall break trip, and it did not disappoint! Our family has been to IOP many times over the years but many in our party have not, but all said they would be back! This house in in a perfect quiet area with easy access to the beach, which was equally quiet. The house is well appointed, we had everything we needed with the exception of cleaning supplies. We like to try and keep our space clean as we go, and there was just nothing to work with. A tiny almost kid size broom that was worn completely out, and the vacuum, (a nice shark) smelled so bad when we used it we were almost gagging. It needed a filter change and a good cleaning. It would have been useful to also have some kind of multipurpose cleaner. None of this is a big deal, we would definitely stay there again but if you are like us bring stuff to clean with! It has a great porch to sit out and drink your coffee in the morning or wine in the evening! We couldn’t use the pool because the hurricane that came in the day before we got there filled it with debris, when we called about it we were told the pool company would be there Friday (we got there Saturday and were leaving Thursday). It’s a nice pool however and you could sit out on the porch and overlook the kids if you use it. Beds were very comfy! We are already planning next year’s trip and will try to get this house again, I miss it already!

We really enjoyed our stay at 211 Charleston Blvd. The location was perfect... one block to a beautiful uncrowded beach. The home was in great condition on a quiet road. The house had everything we needed except beach towels, which we knew ahead of time and brought with us. The kitchen was well equipped. The sitting room/office off the master bedroom was a great place to work or relax. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved this house! The porch was a great gathering place for talking with our family. We were in Charleston for a family wedding and had many relatives come share our porch for great conversation. The grandkids loved the pool and despite the cool water went swimming many times daily. Open kitchen, living and dining rooms fit everyone nicely so we all could be together when inside. Bedroom layout was fantastic for 3 different families. Everyone had plenty of space. Great location to the beach access!
Island Realty was great to work with from beginning to end always available for our questions and needs. Grandkids cried when they left!
We are use to having HD TV'S and cable ready which we did not have. Owner suite did not have a full length mirror needed to get ready for many wedding events. House could have been a little cleaner on arrival.
Everything aside we do want to return with our family! We all enjoyed it very much.

Rental home was perfect for our needs however was not up to our cleanliness standards. Home was clean overall however it was very evident the floors were not vacuumed, which means they probably were not mopped either. We had Cheetos, sand, dirt and dust on the floors which we vacuumed ourselves.

Had a terrible experience with rental agency customer service regarding early check in. First we were told that we could do an early check in, then were told the house was cleaned but not inspected, then were told the house was not cleaned. Finally just went to the office around 230 and front office lady was very helpful and said it was ready.

Convenient location, good neighborhood, close to the beach; but noisy during the day with so much construction going on on both sides of the house and across the street. Property management responded immediately to 2 complaints and repairs were done professionally. Great pool at least so it seems = the depth of the pool is not marked on the edges nor mentioned in the listing. So it was a surprise when we found out that this small pool had a depth of at least 7 feet at one end, starting at about 3.5 feet at the other end. So totally unsuitable for children who are not excellent swimmers!!!!! I would consider this place a hazard for small children and Island Real should mention this in their listing. Beside that we had a great time!

As a newly married couple, we chose to vacation in Charleston at Kate’s Place, to help blend our new family. We loved the short walk to the beach, the large porch with rocking chairs and spacious house. Sadly, the pool is not heated like we have back home. There was a solar cover but no instructions on how to use to optimize the lovely pool that begged for a dip. We did spend an afternoon working on the 1000 piece NYC puzzle, but be warned, it’s missing pieces. Also, the master bath jetted tub is not working.

The house was wonderful...close to the beach!! However, when our family got there the pool was NOT clean. There were beer bottle caps and cigarette butts at the bottom of the pool.The chairs were scattered everywhere and the pool area was not cleaned properly. This is not the owners fault, it seems to be the cleaning service. We did have a fabulous time at this house and it was walking distance to the beach! This house is also close to our favorite areas, Sullivan's Island and Shem Creek. Despite the cleanliness issues we would definitely recommend this house to any other family.

It is an excellent rental property. My family and I have been had rentals on the IOP fro several years now and this is one of the best. It is recently remolded, very clean, modern appliances, located on a quiet street. We had the grand kids over for part of the time and always felt safe with them in the yard. Short walk tot he beach, and while it is several blocks form downtown IOP, the area of the beach you have access to is generally open with out the crowds. It is a definite return for us.

A beautiful home in a quiet, convenient location. Short walk to beach, safe quiet street. Lots of birds! Recent renovations well done, seems like a new home. Appreciated good quality Bosch appliances, not like some other rentals we have had in the past.

Two small suggestions: supply more cleaning supplies, eg swiffer, bucket and cloths, toilet cleaner etc. Monthly winter rental clients usually want to keep the house clean themselves. We requested and were promptly given a floor mop and bought other cleaning supplies ourselves.
There were no coffee filters! Small item but needed for first day. We left lots for the next arrivals.
Otherwise, a very nice home, well appointed.

This was a perfect house the for us! The front porch is huge and has plenty of seating. It was too cool to use the pool, but it would have been a great asset had it been warmer.

The kitchen was fantastic. The appliances were all brand new and top of the line. The beds were comfortable and the linens were great.

All in all, it was hit with the entire family. We had people from all over the country in town for the wedding renting various houses throughout IOP and Sullivan's Island. This house was the best of all of them!

The house wasn't quite as clean as we expected. I know it's the end of the season but just wanted to make you aware. There were no sheets for the pull out coach in the room off the master. Only twin sheets were provided but we made it work. There was a roach in the master bathroom on the side of the tub, and the kitchen trash can was very dirty. The pool got cleaned on our fourth day, it was full of twigs and things. I also thought you may want to let the owners know that the mosquito spray service for the yard isn't worth the money they're paying (I'd hate for them to waist their money).

The house was perfect, it was bright, clean and a well-stocked kitchen. We like to cook and found that some of the items we brought such as pots and pans, were not needed as the kitchen already had them. I came home and bought the baking tin brand that was in the house for my own home! We LOVED the pool. The shade of the balcony ensured that there was always a shaded area for those who like to stay out of the sun. The tree in the front gave good privacy to the house. We shared the house with our very close friends and had such a good time, if I go back to that area I will definitely be looking for this particular house.

We had a great time. We had to call because the air conditioner upstairs was not working. The service man was RUDE. He didn't say hello, he just walked right in the house. When I tried to talk to him, he let me know that "tourists" were not his favorite and we shouldn't have programmable thermostats. Once he learned I use to live in Charleston, he was a little nicer. Then once he found out the compressor wasn't working, he fixed it and complained about having to work. Poor fella. Please improve your customer service sir, rude is not good for your business.
