Started Off rough. I notified the office and spoke to Linda telling her I would be arriving after 5pm but before 5:30 pm. I was told I would be receiving a text or e-mail with a code to receive my information on the property I was staying; I received nothing. Thanks to Michele and the real estate people upstairs I was able to get my information. I arrived at 5:05. I have rented multiple times with Island Reality and this was not a happy empierce to start a Vacation.

This was one our best weeks on the Isle of Palms, thanks to Island Realty, the house, the beach, and the weather. We have been coming to the Isle of Palms for several years, and our family has grown since 2019. We have stayed in several different houses on the Isle Of Palms but this house was perfect for us, 6 adults 6 childern the youngest 6 months. The Kids and adults loved the Pool after a day on the beach, it was perfect. Thanks so much for working with us and for the owners renting such a beautiful house, we hope to be back in 2025. My kids are already begging for it, the young and the old. Thanks again (:

This house was great for our family...plenty of rooms and the kids loved the swimming pool! Screened in porch was really nice.
The only thing we were disappointed in was the gazebo. Was looking forward to sitting in there. It was over taken with weeds. It’s been a while since anyone cleaned it up. And the grass needed cutting also. Those were our only issues with this property.

Perfect rental for our family of ten: two grandparents, four adults, four kids ages 6-10. Grands appreciated main floor bedroom with en suite. Nice rooms with great views upstairs for adults, and great accommodations for kids—several bunks and single beds providing great flexibility. Living areas and porches super comfortable, and the beachfront location a treat. Highly recommend!

Very nice house with a great location. The unground pool is a nice amenity. Needs an updated back entranceway and some shower drainage issues fixed. The Island realty staff was helpful as usual. I would recommend this place to friends.

The rental experience was very easy and simple. House was exactly was described. Very cozy and a ton of fun. My kids, fiancé and I loved it! Highly recommend and we will be back! Rental company employees were friendly and quite helpful!

The house exceeded our expectations! PLENTY of space inside and out (huge yard, lots of parking space, right on the beach) beautiful pool and views from all angles. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances although we did need to get some essentials (tin foil, olive oil, salt and pepper, etc). Seamless check in and check out, we cant wait to come again!

This place is so comfortable & accommodating for a large family. Lots of extras. Has a beautiful view with a pool, which unfortunately was too cold during our stay. Would recommend for a large group or family.

This home was just right for our family of twelve from Germany, including three small children. The sunrise views of the Atlantic and the neighboring palmettos were beautiful and, of course, the Isle of Palms beaches are incredible. We‘ve already booked it again for 2023!!!

The house was perfect for our group of six friends. Plenty of spaces for us to spread out and relax as a group or individually - the screened in porch, the pool and deck, the large living room and dining room and the beach. Easy drive to Charleston for site seeing and to plantations. New appliances for preparing meals at the house. Close to grocery store.

The home has some wonderful highs and a few lows. We knew going in that it was an older family oriented home and weren’t disappointed by the decor or age of the property. The location can’t be beat and the pool (brand new) is a wonderful addition. There were only a few issues we encountered. The first being the carpet, the carpet is in need of replacement it is pretty beaten up and uncomfortable to walk on. The second issue was lots of ants in the kitchen. This is a tough one because we also saw tons of ants in the dunes so I’m sure it’s a constant battle to keep them out of the house. The only other thing we wished we had were more games or books geared towards the 8 and under crowd.

We loved 2912 Palm! We used her as a "home base" for the night before our wedding at a church on Sullivan's Island and this house did not disappoint. It has a great layout, and was so cozy! My only complaint is that the rental company did not provide enough house items. It was advertised for 12 people and we rented for 3 nights. There was one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, only 2 towels per bathroom. Just not nearly enough for the number of people that would be occupying the space. Otherwise, I cannot recommend this property enough. It's obvious that the owners have cultivated a perfect getaway and we can't wait to go back!

had a great time. house was perfect size for our growing family. it was clean and tidy. no dishtowls so hd to wipe dishes not cleaned in dishwasher with paper towels. only problem we can say we had. and bath outside didn't look like it had been cleaned otherwise we hope to stay in that same house again.

Had a great visit. This was our 1st time at this house and we really enjoyed the large kitchen and screened porch.Since we stayed during the Covid Pandemic, the comfy rattan furniture on the large porch was well used. WE appreciated the private boardwalk to the beach.Social distancing was not an issue. I was a little concerned that I had to call twice to have the outside bathroom cleaned. I think a detailed list of all areas should be given so no area is missed.We were originally booked for Spring break when the Island was closed. I think we should have been able to rebook without paying an additional fee for the later date vs a full refund.

A well equipped house on the beach. Nice walkway to the beach. Climbing over the dunes a little hard for the Grandparents.
P.S.We left a note for some work to be done on beach side screen door as it drags on the bottom.

What started out as a group of 8 high school girlfriends celebrating our 50th birthday ended up with only 6 due to Corona Virus limitations. For those of us who were able to travel safely, it was a wonderful getaway and we each had our own space with plenty of room. The house is large and spacious. The old floors are gorgeous and the bathrooms and laundry room have been updated. The open layout was great and we spent the majority of our time on the huge screened in porch reminiscing while listening to the ocean waves. For those who didn't want to sit on the beach, the sundeck worked great. The walk to the beach wasn't too far but we still felt secluded and safe in our spot. There were only a few things that weren't ideal... the downstairs carport bathroom was not clean so we emptied the trash and wiped down the toilet and sink with disinfectant wipes; two of the three trash bins were completely full with other people's trash; the ice maker was really slow so we had to venture out to get ice (the extra fridge in the laundry room housed the bags of ice); and the check out time of 10am is earlier compared to other rentals we've stayed in. Housekeeping showed up at 10:15 as we were packing up our cars and then had the rental company call me, which only slowed down the car packing process. That part was a little weird. A tiny grace period would have been nice. The check-in process required I wait on site at the rental company for a text so I could get the necessary information from a locker. Due to that, we couldn't get into the house until after 4pm anyway. This was the first weekend the island was open for short term rentals so I understand additional precautions were needed. Just a heads up.

Enjoyed the stay. Location is perfect with access to beach. House needs some attention - especially with safety concerns. Front stairs are very poorly lighted and nearly missed the last step going down to landing in the dark. TV in living area required pin number not provided until tech came out. Every time channel was changed the pin no. was required. While sinks had hot water, showers were only lukewarm. The kitchen sink stopper provided was inadequate - would not hold water. The lamp bulb next to the chair in front of the back sliding door not bright enough to read by. The pillows for sleeping were too soft in the master bedroom. There was not a single hot pad to be found in the well equipped kitchen, so cooking for Thanksgiving was a little tricky. Found 2 moldy measuring cups in the cupboards. When these issues are corrected, this will be a fantastic place. Needs a little TLC! Tech who came out to fix TV was polite but did not solve the problem.

Everyone in our group from ages five to eighty loved this house. It is so inviting and comfortable, suiting our needs perfectly. It has spacious common areas where we could all gather, with more private areas as well. It is an older home but has been beautifully updated in kitchen and bathrooms. Great ocean front location, but back far enough from the beach to seem very private. We will definitely rent again when schedules permit.
