Rainy Day Itinerary

Did a rainy day wash away your beach plans?

No need to worry - there are a multitude of fun things to do even when the weather isn't sunny. Whether you are in the mood to stay in or want to venture out, there is always something to do in and around Charleston!

Have you heard of Candlefish?

These local boutique candles are made right here in Charleston! Just off Wentworth Street in downtown Charleston, Candlefish offers locally-made candles in over 100 fragrances. If you'd rather be hands-on, they can lead you and your best friends in making candles of your own! You also have the option to bring a bottle of your favorite wine or champagne and enjoy the total experience.

You can sign up and view the workshop pricing HERE.

Art buffs in your group may enjoy an afternoon at the Gibbes Museum of Art.

It's Charleston's only visual arts museum and houses the foremost collection of American art, which incorporates the history of Charleston. This beautiful museum has three entire floors, a gift shop, public tours, and artist talks to enjoy the next time you visit.

Make a day trip to the South Carolina Aquarium!

Enjoy seeing all the various exhibits and animals the aquarium has to offer! Appropriate for all ages, this would be an experience you won't forget.

One of our favorite rainy day activities is to visit a new museum or historical home and learn something new about our beloved Holy City. There are too many to name, but here are some of our (indoor) favorites:
