Overall pleased with rental; little things like a hole in the wall, bathroom sinks that barely drain, tell us the owners are not putting money into this place. Finally, the floor was very dirty, walking on bare feet was very gross to us and our family.

Wonderful condo. Same one we had last year and wouldn’t hesitate to rent it again. Neat, clean , nicely decorated, good furniture, and wonderful beds! My daughter rented #67 and we were impressed with the updated kitchen. Taking out the wall and adding the island made it feel HUGE. Something that would improve #69, as the kitchen is really tiny for 6 adults. Otherwise, no complaints!

We were switched to this which was not ideal. We had. Sat-Sat rental, this was Sun-Sun. Due to flights and schedules, we left Sat, so wasted $. We also had to rent Hotel Rooms on Resort which was quite expensive.
The Condo itself was fine. The experience based on above was not at all.

The property is outdated compared to others I have stayed. We found a roach in the kitchen one morning. No benefit points toward bikes or chairs were provided. Usually $250 in beach gear with other properties. Some of the Beach Club Villa's are closer to the beach than others. This one was pretty good. I was shocked at the beach erosion nearby since my last stay on isle of palms. Rust in bathroom fixtures.

The arrival process was smooth and the villa was clean. The unit was well equipped and attractive. The TV and internet were easy to operate. The only area which could and should be improved was the mattresses. This is important for a pleasant stay and these all need to be replaced.

Check in was easy and appreciated the keyless lock. We were disappointed in the condition of the unit. The views are nice but it needs a revamp. Ceiling paint peeling, needs a deep clean and updated baths. Thw furniture is "tired" and there is an odd smell. We were here during a deep freeze and found the heating unit could not keep up with the cold. It ran constantly but didnt keep us warm enough downstairs, while the master bedroom was too warm. They definitely need humidifier on the unit in the winter. We enjoyed time as a family but we won't be staying here again in it's current cindition.

Location and view are amazing! Beautiful artwork!

Unit needs some attention: broken dining chair so only seating for 5, living room accent chair is thoroughly stained, pillows on every bed were flat and need replacing, all four queen beds desperately need toppers as mattresses were very uncomfortable. Bathroom showers need updating. Shower curtain rods are rusty. Front bedroom windows were unable to be opened. Lower bedroom window was painted shut. Upper bedroom window crank was broken. No one responded to open or repair. Upon arrival screened porch floor and tables were not clean. All simple issues to address and make guest stay more enjoyable.

Overall a great week as the location and ocean views are the best!

Beach Club 69 was in a great location with beach view and easy access. It was nicely furnished, had beautiful floors, very clean and quiet. BUT, I would consider it "partially updated" and hope that the owners finish the job. Cabinets were obviously pretty new, but all of the appliances are either rusty, noisy or outdated and need replacing. Screen door on the lanai was rusty and screen broken. For an average of over $600 per night, I hoped for a little more and consider it overpriced for the "low" season. I have rented many vacation condos on beaches so my expectations are realistic. This was a nice place but overpriced in my opinion (maybe that was the $150 per night that was "reservation fee" and tax. Not sure what we got for that fee. Hope the owners are willing to invest a little more at this price and really make this a "wow" place.

It was a good week. The weather was not the greatest but it was still a good day on the beach front. The lighting in the condo was not great. The light over the table did not work and the kitchen light came on after at least two times trying. It could use some updates but it was clean and served our purposes.

Our son and his family live in Charleston, and we hadn’t seen them in 7 months.
Once we were vaccinated we decided to go the Isle of Palms for 3 weeks.
We rented at the Beach Club Villa and we were very pleased. The villa was clean, comfortable and it met all of our needs.

Our villa was just as advertised. It was nicely updated. Getting access was very seamless and right on time. The view was fantastic. The rooms were very clean, but we felt a better job could have been done in the kitchen. We rewashed a number of dishes and utensils. Overall, it was a very good choice and I definitely recommend Beach Club Villa 69.

We love the Beach Club Villas. The location and view is perfection. The master bedroom view is just so pretty from the deck/balcony. The layout is very convenient. The master bedroom king bed was comfortable. The upstairs queen beds, not so much (very hard). Anything you need to cook with was available, tho the fridge water didn’t work and some crisper drawers were broken. The dishwasher upper rack would fall if pulled out too far. We weren’t real happy with the cleanliness of the place. The dining room table was not recently cleaned and was sticky and gross, but cleaned up easily. Downstairs bathroom floor looked to have been mopped and someone walked on wet floor with dirty shoes. We have stayed at this same villa before a few years ago for 6 weeks. It is more worn than that time, which is to be expected. Overall it is a very nice place and the location can’t be beat. We did have neighbors for the first time. They had small children and we could hear them running and stomping around which didn’t bother us, just so you know if someone is next door it is possible to hear footstep. We could not hear voices though. I would recommend 69 BC Villa for the location, views and amenities.

The rental is in a great location with direct access to the beach. We enjoyed the screened in porch overlooking the ocean. We had fantastic weather for mid to late October and really would have liked access to the pool. Chlorine kills Covid so I’m not sure why y’all can’t open your pools down here.

There were only two complaints from our group. The refrigerator is in sad shape and some beach chairs would’ve been awesome. Hopefully the next renters will enjoy the ones we left.

Thank you for sharing your experience. The Beach Club Management company has hopes to re-open the outdoor pool in early April 2021. For quality assurance we encourage guests to rent beach chairs. Unfortunately the salty air does a number on any that we leave outside.

Great location on beach front with nothing between you and the dunes and the beach. Very easy access to the beach. Nice wide uncrowded beach in this area. Three bedroom, three bath layout is roomy and comfortable with plenty of rooma nd privacy for a small to medium family or several adults.

Beach club 69 has amazing views upstairs and down. The kitchen was STOCKED with all dishes and utensils you could need. It was nicely furnished and the bedding was very comfortable. When we arrived on June 14th you could tell they had done extra cleaning for COVID and we felt very safe. It was very easy to socially distance on the beach however the pool was still closed during our stay. We comfortably fit 5 adults and 2 teens during our stay. The hidden closet under the stairs was a cute surprise. Needed instructions for the 3 remotes for the TVs. We can’t wait to rebook next year!!

We had a wonderful stay at this location. It was a great location and the beach was awesome! The pool nearby was small and did not have any shade or umbrellas but it was very close to the villa. The villa was decorated nicely and the beds were clean and comfortable. It would be nice to have trash locations marked and maybe an extra trash bag available. The floor needed vacuumed when we arrived so we did. I feel maybe we left this location a little cleaner than it was when we arrived. Would definitely stay here or close to this location again.

Exterior 13 stairs to the front door. Through the front door, there is kitchen, living room, one bedroom and one bath. Upstairs (inside), master bedroom with amazing view and bath, and a second bedroom and bath. The beds were a little firm but at least none of the beds were twin size, we needed sleep capacity for adults not children. Visit was for a family wedding. Aug was super hot and humid so I would not recommend this time of year unless you love the heat. The air conditioning was great, the kitchen was well stocked, the unit was clean. Laundry dryer was clogged with lint and maintenance came out to clear the pipe vent exhaust. There was no access to the garage, unless we missed how to access. Nearby, we did not have time to eat at the Boardwalk Inn but did walk through it. We did eat at Acme Restaurant in Isle Of Palms and it was a favorite. Community pool had sand in the bottom the whole week but was nice for a quick dip. The rental does not include access to any of the amenities of Wild Dunes.

The layout of the condo was ideal for our family to have their own space. The screened porch was a big hit for the elders to stay outside yet not in the sun. The property was clean and well furnished. Some of the towels seemed like they needed to be washed again but we had enough to work with. The location is perfect! We saw deer most nights right of our porch. Overall we had a great once in a lifetime family trip!

We rented this house last year and returned this year. It comfortably accommodates the five adults in our family. We spent a lot of time on the screened porch for meals and just visiting. Go out the porch door and you're at the pool or the beach in just a few minutes. Sectional in living room was very popular. The dishwasher was malfunctioning (soap dispenser not opening during cycle), but IR maintenance responded promptly once we figured out the problem and reported it.

The condo was clean and reasonably well equipped (could use more wine glasses) and Island Realty has always been a pleasure to deal with. Our suggestion would be to have some specific information prominently displayed. We could not find the trash disposal area outside and had to call the office. Also, there was no departure information specific to this condo, such as
how to leave bedding, whether or not to leave dishwasher running upon departure, whether to totally remove anything from the fridge, etc.

Rental unit was exactly as described and photographed. The location was perfect for both beach goers and experiencing Charleston and surrounding area. The only suggestion I have is to have an alert system for those in Wild Dunes Resort. We experienced a situation in which a warning and information was needed. A vehicle struck a pole causing both a lengthy power outage and the inability to drive out of the resort. With only one exit road blocked we could not leave and worse yet we had great difficulty getting information. The only way we finally found out that the road had reopened was to drive to the spot to see if traffic was moving. We live in a community in PA where we are alerted by text and/or email when there is a problem and when it is resolved. You could have guests sign up for alerts as part of the registration process. Lack of information is annoying at best and in certain situations could be dangerous. Please consider.

We really could not have been happier with our rental house on IOP! The house was beautiful, well kept, and clean. The bed in the master (the only one used) could use an update soon. Bring bug spray,the mosquitoes are terrible between the house and beach!

The condo and location was beautiful. Our stay was enjoyed very much by our family. Truly, we have been visiting and renting from Island Realty for over 7 years. This was the most beautifully furnished and well kept place we have stayed. We were wondering if the Beach Club home owners would consider extending the walk way to the beach so that guests would not need to walk through what I jokingly called the Isle of Palms Pond to get to the beach. We ended up walking to the general beach access to avoid the pond. Additionally, the standing water at the outdoor shower of our specific condo made it difficult to access to shower off and walk to the pool. Also, we were not allowed to rent a Lightening Bug due to parking. There was amply parking spaces for all quests of our building as well as the surrounding buildings. We would like for this rule to be reconsidered for future renters.

Villa 69 is very tastefully decorated and very clean! The view from the screen porch is lovely. We certainly enjoyed our stay. My only comment would be that there needs to be more coffee mugs. There were five and one was chipped - in a condo that sleeps 10!
