Great location. Close to the beach and pool. Close to grocery store. Ceiling fans and air vents could use a good cleaning overall all other items seemed spotless. Garbage disposal went out during stay and they responded immediately. Enjoyed the property! Would love to stay there again.

Another great family vacation thanks to Island Realty. We had a few minor issues during our stay that were rectified the same day that I notified maintenance team. This home is so close to the beach, pool and shopping that there's hardly a need to leave the driveway. Looking forward to coming back soon. Being pet friendly is a real plus for us. This is our 3rd time staying here and the tv in the room with two beds has never worked. We reported it the last time we stayed and learned nothing could be done about it so we didn't bother this time.

Rental Experience was great. Our third year renting this house at this time. Only concern is condition of two single and one queen mattresses. Okay for kids, so noisy when adult sleeping on them, sleep is seriously affected. King mattress is great. Please replace the others. Thank you.

This property is in a good location and we had a good experience. There are 2 things we'd like to mention:
1. The gas grill is beyond its useful life and cannot be cooked upon. A charcoal grill would make a nice replacement at a reasonable cost.
2. There is one board on the front entry steps that has raised up and is a potential trip hazard.

We have stayed in this house numerous times and have always enjoyed it. It has recently had some upgrades and was very clean when we arrived. The location is perfect and our dog loves it. Property management is always cordial and helpful.

We have stayed in this home three times and have enjoyed it. It is well equipped and dog friendly with enough space for 4 people to find their own quiet space. A big bonus is the access to the beach. It is a short walk without having to cross a major highway, and the beach is lovely.

First time renting with Island Realty and we loved it. The house is adorable and just a few houses down from the beach entrance so it’s not a long walk. We love the private area and didn’t have to worry about much traffic. Check in was quick and easy as well as Check out. The house is just a few minute walk on the beach from all the shops and restaurants if you don’t feel like driving.

Great location close to beach and pool. Nice beach area that is not overly crowded. Beds were great for sleeping.
King bed bathroom tub would not plug up so we bought a stopper that partially worked. It did require us to perform general cleaning.

Beachside Drive 26 is tucked away in a quiet complex that's off the main road, but still very convenient to the grocery store and other restaurants. The walk to the beach is so easy and only steps away. There is ample parking in the long driveway - both covered and uncovered. The house was clean, well maintained and very well furnished -everything we needed was available. We will definitely return and would recommend to others!

This house is great, the location is the best and the community pool and tennis/pickleball court are wonderful. The small but functional backyard could be enhanced with fencing on the two sides not already fenced by neighbors. Also the direct tv needs to include some sports channels such as ESPN. Observations: box springs on queen bed very squeeky, king mattress is broken down, water dispenser on frig not working, wet towel left in washing machine along with lots of sand when we arrived. Otherwise best rental ever!

Enjoyed our stay on IOP. The location is a short walk to the beach in a quiet subdivision off the main road. The house was clean and comfortable. Kitchen supplies were just adequate. Our only problem was a leaking roof in the hall bathroom after a heavy rain, which was reported. Overall, the house could use some TLC but still comfortable.

Great location and dog friendly. Microwave was tempermental. Only 30 second button worked consistently otherwise you had to unplug and reset. Sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't. Grass was high and all others were nicely manicured. Toilet seat in master bath was loose. Kitchen could stand updating. Huge at screen TV in den was a plus. We had fun!

Excellent experience. House was clean, well stocked, and a good amount of space. Great screened in porch and back deck. Beautiful tree in backyard. 3 minute walk to beach. Close to everything- grocery, restaurants, Sullivan's Island. Great location for golf cart rental. The house isn't fancy but very comfortable and nice.

We had a great stay at Isle of Palms. Our location to the beach and pool were also great-just a short walk to the beach and the pool. We had a few problems when we arrived. Some of the outlets in the living room and bedroom were not working (which caused the cable and tv not to work) we called and they did send someone to fix it. After we returned from eating and grocery shopping we realized the refrigerator ice maker was dripping in he floor and the refrigerator was not working. We called again and it was later-11:30 and they couldn't send anyone out. The refrigerator had a control lock on the front and we finally got it unlocked . We had to put the food we bought in a cooler with ice and get up in the night to check on it and it started getting cool. The last thing was on Sunday morning I turned on the shower and it had not been cleaned. The shower curtain had mold on it and the bathtub had soap scum all around the tub. I did call housekeeping and later that day they did come and clean both our showers and put a new shower curtain up and was very apologetic about how dirty the bathrooms were. For as much as we paid I was very disappointed on Saturday and Sunday but at least Island Realty did send someone when we had all these problems. After all these things were corrected we had a great week.

Exceptionally easy to work with professional planners at Island Realty. With the exception of misunderstanding where to leave the keys upon our departure it was an outstanding experience. The owner had to perform some maintenance on the exterior while we there and was very gracious in working while we were gone. He also replaced an LP gas tank to use the grill. This was a minor inconvenience when we first arrived that he took care of after we let IR personnel know that it wasn't working. We're very appreciative that we could bring our golden retrievers to such a nice well maintained home so close to the beach. We all had a great time. The only negative was a fairly big dust build up on the air return in the living room. We also saw a sock behind the dresser left over from another guest.
Kitchen was well stocked. All appliances worked great.
As a future enhancement we would suggest that the owner considers converting to an electronic locking system for the front door. It would be much easier than keeping up with a key.
We strongly recommend considering this for your vacation rental needs. We look forward to a return next year.

Great location and really cute house. Awesome, quiet little neighborhood. But oh my... our only complaint: so DIRTY! Seriously, we could write our names in the thick dust on the master bed headboard. The baseboards & floors so dirty, washer machine filthy, etc. (note to owners, if you are paying for a cleaning service, demand a refund!) BUT, otherwise, it was a treasure! Newer appliances in kitchen, location amazing, wonderful floor-plan, cute beachy decor and comfy furniture. And we loved the charming back yard and short walk to beach! And that our sweet little fur-baby mini-aussie could stay with us? Priceless!

We love coming to the Isle of Palms and have been vacationing there for more than 30 years, usually staying at the Sea Cabins. The last two years we have stayed in this house because of the location and it is pet friendly. Great location, only steps away from the beach. Only downside is that the house could use a good cleaning, inside and out. boards on decking and steps need to be replaced and couldn't use the deck because of the large tree, although beautiful, was kind of messy. love the sunroom.

Reasonably clean, but in great need of a thorough cleaning - thick dust on ceiling fan blades and blinds, cobwebs between blinds and windows. Vacuum sweeper did not work properly. Not as well maintained as other homes we've rented in the same neighborhood.

The location is great. Just a short walk to the beach grocery store, and to several great restaurants.

Great location, great house, very clean but had a bit of a cat odor but nothing that would keep me from staying again. Beach chairs and a nice bike were available and very short walk to beach and shops. Pool was also great.

The location was great. It could have been cleaner. The dishwasher should have been replaced. It was rusted and some of the tines were broken. The showerheads were also rusted. They were replaced by the management. The staff at Island Realty were great.

I really thought that we would have to cancel our vacation, as Hurricane Matthew was supposed to hit land the day we were supposed to check-in to this property. Island Reality and their wonderful staff put us at ease right away. They were willing to work with us to make sure that we were satisfied with their service. We wound-up rescheduling from Tuesday to Tuesday because the house was available into the next week. They offered to rebook the entire week later in the year, or put us in a house equivalent to this one. I couldn't be happier with their professionalism, not to mention the fact that they themselves had to evacuate the island due to the hurricane.

The house was perfectly situated, just a two minute walk to the beautiful beach. You can hear the ocean from house and glimpse it from the sun porch and master bedroom. WE WILL DEFINITELY BE RETURNING AND RENTING WITH ISLAND REALTY AGAIN!
