The perfect vacation home for families traveling together. Updated and professionally decorated, with its very own outdoor private pool (approximate depth is 3-5 feet)!

Features include: partially covered deck with outdoor private pool (not heated or cooled) and gas grill, updated kitchen and baths, two master suites, two living spaces, an open kitchen/dining/living concept, and bedding options for adults and kids.

Located within the gated community of Wild Dunes, which is coveted for its walk-able lifestyle, a boardwalk w/shops, bike rentals, tennis courts & 2 golf courses.

Downtown Charleston is a short drive away, and the Atlantic Ocean within biking or walking distance.

Outdoor pool area and deck are surrounded by abundant foliage. Pool is professionally cleaned once a week from October 15-April 15, and twice a week April 15-October 15. Please expect to use the pool net outside regular cleaning dates.

It was very good! We stayed for 3 nights and the place was great! Great location, easy walk to the beach, and beautiful home. I wish they had some beach chairs we could have borrowed but it was awesome!!

Spacious home - Welcoming and comfortable -10/10

We brought our children and grandchildren (5 teens,16-19) to IOP to have some fun in the sun, and visit with family members living in the area. The house had everything we needed and more! Pool and large deck was definitely a plus and we definitely enjoyed time spent utilizing. Kitchen well equipped. Spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. Our group of 12 enjoyed the tastefully decorated property.

My friends and I were a group of 7 staying at Edgewater Alley 29. The house was great! Lots of space and privacy for everyone, nice pool and great deck for hanging out on. It's a little noisey from room to room because it's older, but overall it was perfect.

Fantastic, modern place with great space for hanging out inside and outside. It was a great space for all of our friends in for my son's wedding. Only issue was the propane went out Saturday when everyone was getting ready - cold showers and no oven/stove for breakfast. No one has called back to offer compensation.

We were 6 women visiting for the Charleston Open. We appreciated the large space, and having enough bedrooms and bathrooms to give us privacy during our stay. The pool had not been cleaned in ages - which is ok because it was off-season and too cold to swim anyways. There were some amenities that were missing that we would have expected in a vacation rental - no kleenex anywhere, and no hair dryers for a 5 bedroom home. The kids room was a bit musty, and the king room over the garage was very cold (we couldn't figure out how to operate the heat in that room). But overall the space was very clean and comfortable for our group.

The home was perfect for our group with the kids bunk room separate from most other rooms in the house helping with noise, etc. The house was gorgeous with lots of nearby paths to the beach. The only negative was there were no beach towels, not enough towels, pillow cases, limited items in the kitchen so we had to buy a lot. We left beach toys, condiments, etc for other families to use, but for the price it would have been nice to have a hair dryer or stipend for beach supplies like other rentals often provide.

This rental property was very spacious on the inside and clean except for the inside of the oven which smelled when we used it. The sleeping areas were great for a family with kids. Unfortunately, there were some aspects of this property that were disappointing. The outdoor pool was not useable because it was full of leaves. Someone came to clean the pool the day before we left. There were 4 tv's in this house. Only two worked. We called management to fix the TV in the master bedroom; they fixed that one and then the other two stopped working. We called maintenance on Sunday when no one was available to help and no one showed up the following day. Very disappointing.

Family getaway had a wonderful time. House was great would highly recommend for fall vacations that pool be heated and covered. Lots of debris in pool we had to clean out and water was super cold. Overall we would rent again

“THE PALM GREAT HOUSE”

The experience was wonderful. We had 2 problems that were both corrected before leaving. The hot water went out the 2nd night. Maintenance discovered the propane tank was empty. The house of 11 ladies were inconvenienced due to having to take “cold” baths. However, the Utilty company came out mid day Saturday and filled the tank. Hot water was back flowing. The pool was dirty upon arrival which deterred a few of the ladies from taking a dive. Maintenance showed up after a few days and got the pool straight. Other than those issues the stay was fantastic. The house had all the amenities needed for a vacation home. It’s nicely decorated. As time goes on it would be nice to add a few more televisions to the comfort of staying in the bedroom. It didn’t hinder the trip, but was mentioned. It was also suggested to have more wash clothes for a house that big for the number it accommodates. I would stay at the same house again on my next visit to Charleston. Despite the few hiccups, the overall experience was GREAT!!! The neighborhood was gated, quiet, felt safe and it was a GREAT home away from home. The staff is dynamic Cooper was GREAT to work with and Michelle jumped in and resolved the problems. YOU ROCK Island Realty!

What is the cancellation policy on this property?

Answer:

You can cancel your reservation; however, you will not get a refund unless the property is re-rented for the same dates and rate as your reservation.

Island Realty has a 10% cancellation fee, and the remainder of your deposit is held pending re-rental of the property.

If you are paid-in-full for the reservation, all money will be held until we can re-rent the property. If the property is not re-booked, the entire balance will be forfeited to Island Realty, regardless of whether or not a full deposit was made at the time of booking.

Currently, the sunroom at this property has a TV with cable box and that is the only room with cable.The two king bedrooms and the bunk bedroom each have smart televisions where guests may log onto their own streaming accounts, but no cable package.

This rental is two blocks from the beach as the crow flies. If you would prefer to drive, you can park near Wild Dunes' Grand Pavilion and use the boardwalk entrance or park on Palm Blvd. and use any of the public beach accesses there.
