This house was wonderful! We loved the location, being slightly off the busy pavilion area but a quick walk to get where we wanted to go! It had all the cooking supplies we could think of. The beds were all VERY comfortable- which is rare in a rental! My daughter’s favorite part was that we never ran out of hot water even when everyone was showering at the same time!
We hope to stay at #28 GP again!!

We had the best week at Grand Pavilion 28! The property was very clean upon arrival and offered plenty of space for our multi-generational family of 6. We enjoyed game nights at the dining table, meals/tanning/reading out on the amazing outdoor spaces, and daily sunrise and sunset walks on the beach. We loved that the house was a quick walk to the pool and beach, yet still tucked away to offer a quiet retreat from the community spaces. We’d highly recommend this house!

We had a wonderful time with our entire family (8 adults 1 baby) in this house. Great location for pool and beach. Very comfortable. Only minor complaints are tvs could be updated (on the smaller side) and water dispenser in the refrigerator was very slow.

This home is right between all the new WD amenities and the Boardwalk Inn / Gazebo classics. Plenty of room for our multi-generational group of 7 and a very well-equipped kitchen for cooking most of our meals including Thanksgiving dinner.

28 Grand Pavilion was a great choice. We loved the location. It was a very short walk to the beach. The house was in excellent condition and very well maintained. Lovely house. We loved that each bedroom had its own private bath. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies. I would highly recommend Island Realty. They were very helpful and professional. We had a great experience with the Realty company and was extremely pleased with the house. Would definitely recommend.

Property was a quick 3-5 minute walk to the community pool as well as the beach which was great for our two toddlers. The area has a great walking/bike path that we frequented and you could rent bikes across the street which we did not do. We did go in off season, so stores like the ice cream shop were only open on Saturday/Sunday and some of the restaurants/markets closed by 5 or were not open for lunch. The house had everything we needed to cook meals every day, do laundry, and eat inside or outside in the screened in porch. We would definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed our visit to Wild Dunes. The house was better than the pictures. The decorations for first rate and the screened porch, which is hard to see on the pictures, was a great place for all our meals. It is truly very close to the beach, which is fantastic. Island Realty was great to work with.

The house was great--good space, nice to have the TV's, good location--our only complaint was that the light had been pulled out above the kitchen table and it was dark downstairs, tough to see your food. Otherwise, it was a great property.

We are ex-SC residents (hoping to be SC residents again soon) and have vacationed at Wild Dunes many times. As always, the experience was as near perfect as possible. The only possible issue with Grand Pavilion for future guests is the massive lodging structure that is being built on the Grand Pavilion property. The Boardwalk Inn is small and not intrusive at all but this new thing is going to totally overwhelm the character of the place from a quiet getaway to a little bit of NYC outside the front door. If overcrowding and overuse of resources is your thing then you will fit right in, but if you want some quiet there are still very nice places on the property that are available.

It was amazing. We have been coming to Wild Dunes for years - in the last 5 years, I have been bringing my teenage son and 5 to 6 of his childhood best friends. I rent a house and we stay a week. It is truly one of the happiest times in my life each year. We will continue to do it as long as the boys will let me! I would love to move here eventually and be able to afford my own house. :)

The house was perfect for our group of four adults and three kids. The arrangement of bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas was great for us. The kitchen was well-appointed and there is a grill. One word of warning (which isn't really a complaint, but just a heads-up)- there are no hairdryers in the house, so bring your own. Also, they provide 1 bath towel, one washcloth, and hand towel per person. No beach towel, but towels are available at the pool.

This was our 5th time here. We’ve really enjoyed everything about the house and the location of the house. However with the construction of the new hotel the favorite pool was closed and many more changes will be taking place at Wild Dunes. Right now being there is comfortable but not sure what the future holds with an additional 500+ folks and how that will affect the facilities, the beach, traffic etc.

My family enjoyed staying at 28 Grand Pavilion. The home was beautiful and a short walk to the beach and the amenities of Wild Dune Resort. The only draw back is that the homes are very close together so there's not much outdoor privacy. A suggestion would be to put a privacy shade on the neighbor's side of the screen porch.

This was our 3rd year renting a house in Wild Dunes. The location is great. Didn't know the activities didn't start until the 2nd week of June. Never had to purchase a gym pass before. Thought that access to all Wild Dunes facilities was included in the Wild Dunes rental package.
We planned menues for the week and did grocery shopping prior to checking in. That saved a lot of time and money AND sitting in traffic finding a restaurant that would accommodate our group of 10.

We rented this house with 3 other couples for the New Year's weekend and greatly enjoyed our stay. The house is spacious and loved having a private bath for each bedroom. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking, and a gas grill on the deck just outside the kitchen door was very convenient. The furniture had noticeable wear and some stains but overall comfortable. There was ample table seating for all 8 of us. Screened porch was very nice with comfortable furniture. Parking was a bit inconvenient as it's 4 deep which requires some juggling. Beach access is just out the back door and about a block away. The early check-out is very inconvenient (10am). It should be at least an hour later, 11am, to allow guests to have a leisurely breakfast. It felt we were being pushed out the door as the cleaning crew arrived onsite at 9:45am on our last day. Overall, a great weekend.

The home looks to be about 15-20 years old. While it is well maintained the environment is rough on everything so at some point not too far off they are due for some renovations. However, all amenities were there as promised and we were satisfied with the rental. I was impressed with how quiet the neighborhood is at night. Island Realty was a pleasure to deal with.

We had our whole family there (mom, dad, son & his wife, daughter & her husband and single daughter) for our first visit back to Wild Dunes in several years. House was lovely and comfortably furnished. Bed pillows were either rock hard or too soft. Not enough bath towels supplied by Island Realty. Location was great. Getting to beach was easy. Missed not having an ocean view from the balcony.

My husband and I live in Nashville, TN but I grew up in Moncks Corner so I come back to visit family. It was so nice to go visit family but enjoy being by the beach during our week stay. The house was amazing! It was quiet because it's just walking distance to the pool without being right by the pool (BIG PLUS) it had plenty of space and was so well maintained. We enjoyed going out on the different balconies and just relaxing. We fly to Chas 1 to 2 times a year and we loved this home so much that we will be re-booking our future trips ahead of time so we can stay at this same house. It really does have the best location there and we had the perfect vacation. Thank you so much for opening up your home;)
