My wife and I stayed 3 nights and had a wonderful stay. New comfortable carpet in LR/DR area and on stairs, new kitchen - beautiful and functional. When I looked at pictures I thought with the yellow walls that it might be outdated, but it was really a pleasant yellow and a great place. You could see the ocean a tad from the corner of the sofa (as you look out the porch to the left). Pool and ambiance with large live oak and other smaller live oak trees was a neat contrast to the starkness sometimes of the common areas of other places at Wild Dunes. The bedroom is upstairs, but that wasn't inconvenient for us. Shower, draining, toilet - all were fine. I saw some reviews that seemed a bit negative, so I was a little curious as to what we'd have. We've stayed at a lot of places in Wild Dunes, and we'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

All in all it was a pleasant stay. The unit is in a great location with short walk to beach. It appears upgrades have been made to the unit but it seriously needs a paint job and new shower head. The screened porch is delightful. Bed was comfortable.

Condo was well equipped but the screened porch did not have a ceiling fan which was disappointing so I won’t rent this unit again. King bed a little soft. Good location and pool was very clean.

Perfect location, size, and amenities. Aside from a little wear and tear (mainly wobbly kitchen cabinets and an inoperable bathroom fan), the property was just right for our small family to enjoy a few days at the beach. As always, Wild Dunes didn’t disappoint. We love the bike paths and the easy beach access, when even on a busy spring break there is plenty of space on the sand.

We had an easy go of access combined with privacy and comfort during our stay. Pool access was easy with beach access right around the corner. Our only issue was that the dryer in the unit was ineffective. We just dealt with it rather than have ot tended to over our short stay. This was a lovely condominium with every necessity covered. I look forward to a repeat visit.

We had a wonderful time in the Isle of Palms. Mariners Walk 4B was a fantastic spot for us. Close to the ocean but calm and quiet. We basically had the beach to ourselves. The condo was clean and had a nice layout. You couldn't hear the neighbors through the walls so that was a bonus. The only thing that really needing addressing were the air intake outside the bathroom and the bathroom vent. Both were unbelievably dusty. Otherwise, everything was clean and in working order. We would happily rent Mariners Walk 4B again in the future.

Everything about the unit was nice and we would stay there again,except for the mattress. The night we got there,I went to bed before my wife. Had probably been asleep 15. Minutes and the bed literally woke me up. My wife commented that I was sunk down probably 4 inches.I weigh about 220 and fairly lean. The rest of the trip she slept on the couch and I slept on the floor.Glad I have a good back

Villa was clean and had a great access to pool and beach--although at the time we stayed, the beach was like quicksand due to tilling the sand for the sea turtles and then suffering monsoon rains which made the sand unstable. When we checked in at Island Realty, no mention of this was made, so we discovered it the hard way--losing a pair of shoes in the process when we sunk in sand up to our knees!We heard of 2 other people who sunk to hips and shoulders! We did find a notification of the conditions in our packet later, but it would have been much appreciated if our check-in person would have told us immediately. So we had to use the public beach at Isle of Palms.
Bathroom could use an update, but overall, the villa served its purpose and we enjoyed the screened porch very much.

Every day of our stay was disrupted by general or annual(?) painting. There were parking issues; wet paint causing entrance and exit problems preceded by door knocking to inform us of such; early morning arrival with loud banter/ladder clanging,etc. The workers in all cases were polite in their interaction with us, but it was the disruption to our vacation mindset.
As noted below, we were pleased with your staff's response to our general questions and concerns, but would like to avoid scheduled maintenance in the future!

I was staying in Wild Dunes for a conference and opted to find a budget-friendly vacation rental instead of staying at the Boardwalk Inn. So glad that I made that choice!! I brought my bike and this unit was an easy bike ride to the Sweetgrass Pavilion for conference lectures. Mariner's Walk 4B provided a lot of "bang for the buck" - enjoyable screened porch, nice kitchen with new appliances, and just steps to the beach. There was some construction going on in the complex next door, but they started and finished at a reasonable hour so that was only a minimal annoyance. This unit appears to be in the middle of getting updated - updated kitchen, new carpet, new living room furniture. There was some peeling paint on the ceiling over the staircase, so I'm assuming that they aren't quite finished with the updating yet. Overall the unit was very clean, though there was some mildew on the shower curtain (which I mentioned to the realty staff at check-out - they made note of it, so hopefully that will be replaced for the next guest). Overall, this property was an excellent value and I was very happy with my choice. Check-in and check-out were very easy. The highlight of my trip was biking along the beach, the entire length of the island. Loved Wild Dunes and definitely plan to return!!

Love Wild Dunes area. This is my second time staying at Mariner's Walk. Unit 4B was nice for a one bedroom. Pool is great. Beach is great. Not crowded and other guests were well-behaved.

A/C in this unit was very noisy and drafty. A very big downside to this unit. The mattress on the king size bed was a mass of lumps - very uncomfortable. The carpeting had a lot of stains and did not look clean.
Outside maintenance people did a great job on the grounds.
