The condo was sufficient but nothing special. We usually stayed in the Sea Cabins and didn’t know what to expect at Oceanview. The big drawback is the walk to the beach with everything you need.

The property is my favorite place to vacation. The service upon arrival was less than accommodating or friendly. We asked for one more parking pass for our condo. She stated in a very unpleasant tone, There was not enough parking spaces for us to have two passes. The parking lot was mostly empty. We have always received 2 passes for the last 12 years. I was disappointed with the staff member and parking.

We were happy; we rent from Island Realty maybe once a year for the last 15 years. Properties are always as described and photos are accurate. This unit was inexpensive, so we knew it would be a bit dated. Beds were comfortable; AC was good; location fabulous. It was clean and welcoming, as I always experience with Island Realty. My only suggestion for the company would be to provide more towels & wash cloths, especially in a unit without a washer & dryer.

We had a wonderful experience at Oceanside. We didn't spend much time in the room since we were there for a baseball tournament but we loved the easy walk to the pools, beach and Pier. We felt the room could have been a little more updated but since we spent most of our time outside, it really wasn't that big of a deal.

It was very clean, and a very nice condo. Our only complaint would be an electrician should check some of the outlets. Some didn’t work and somewhere so loose that when you plug something in the plug would just fall out.

It had a musty mildew smell throughout upon arrival. It definitely Needs a good DEEP cleaning, especially the kitchen floors. My husband spilled something when we got there and cleaned it up and the rag was filthy from the floor in the kitchen. The area where the trash can goes was soiled as well. I scrubbed the walls after I saw a bunch of gnats. The a/c furnace unit needs cleaned as well. I replaced the filter myself because it was full of dust & debris and left the old one there by the door. The inside of the door to the unit was filthy as well. I tried to vacuum and that didn't work so I scrubbed it myself. I did take photos before I cleaned it. But the unit itself has built-up debris of dust too.
Ceiling fans need cleaned as well. The ceiling in the master has dust above the fan which is above the bed. Some items were not refilled before we arrived. Like the liquid soap container in the master bathroom. The sponges/Rag to clean dishes were in horrible shape and smelled so we used our own. It would be nice to have at least 1 extra towel in the kitchen for drying dishes. We only had one and the dishes we did by hand we layed on that towel to dry. More Tupperware/storage containers would be nice too. Only 2 had lids so we used our own tinfoil to cover. There was a dirty pie plate in the bottom drawer of the stove so I ran it through the dishwasher. It had a spoonful of built up grease/lard.
The sliding door does not lock so we used the provided stick for security. Overall we loved the location, the amenities of furniture, & the kitchen stuff provided.The linens provided were excellent as well. Loved having 2 full bathrooms. Everything else was great! We'll stay again because the price was reasonable and the location was phenomenal. We also would love to give this company a 2nd chance. We arrived after hours, pu our information in the drop box. Called/texted next day with questions, we received prompt and friendly replies and assistance. We had access to the pier, which offered a great fishing experience for our young grandson. The location was great - close to the beach, shopping, and local dining. Laundry was across street, with change machine not working, so we weren't able to use the laundry facilities. Condo was nice and ample supply of dishes/pans, etc. We felt very at home during our stay.

We have been traveling to Isle of Palms every summer for better part of 35 years. We have been staying in larger houses because we usually have 17 counting grand children staying with us. But this week was different and we came with only 4 of us. The Villa's are always well equipped to allow vacationers to enjoy the beach, the pool and all the night life of the area by a simple walk up the street. We highly recommend Island realty and the properties they manage. Always a professional group, friendly and well organized.

Everything was great. The only thing we did not like was the fact that people in other units who went out early (5:30 am!) were not quiet going up and down the stairs just outside our unit. This place was fine for what we needed for a short trip. Some things were updated but other not. Bathrooms were very clean but the bed rooms were not. We arrived late at night so we stopped by the rental office and picked up our key which was a breeze. One mistake we made was that we didn't specify that we needed two parking passes and only one was included, luckily we didn't get towed bc we were not able to get another one that night. Everything else was great! Perfect size for a family of 6. The place was clean and decorated nice. Loved the location....easy walk to the beach with 4 little kids, the playground was right there too. We loved going out on the Pier. We walked to Sea Biscuit Cafe every morning for breakfast. So good! Overall 108 B was fantastic and we would love to stay here again.

During our stay we went to the Boone Plantation, Harbor Tour, the Aquarium, shopped at the slave market and on King Street and rode wave runners at Tidal Wave Watersports. This was the best rental option ever. My girls had a room to themselves, plus their own bathroom. My husband and I had our own room and the condo was conventional to everything. The only negative part of the stay was the bed in the master bedroom. It was like sleeping on a board, it was so hard.

B108 was just as described per other renters reviews. It was clean and kept up well. Had all the essentials needed for our week stay and even had beach chairs available. The grounds are kept up well. We would stay here again if we get back to the area. Enjoyed Coconut Joe's for drinks and music but would not recommend the food. We found some really great restaurants down the road on Sullivan Island.

Had a wonderful vacation. This is the second time we have stayed in this villa and it was perfect. The staff had everything ready for us as we arrived on Thanksgiving day. They checked with us a week before our arrival to ensure we knew where to pick up our packet and if we needed them to do anything for us before our arrival. The villa was very clean and the furnishings were very comfortable. This is one of our favorite villas to stay in.

This is a repeat stay for us in this same villa. We always bring a friend so the extra bedroom and second bath is perfect or us. The villa has always been very clean upon arrival and is furnished with everything needed for extra cooking which I enjoy doing. The location is very near the beach and the many shops but it is a quiet location and the pier is only a short walk away. We cannot list any negatives about our experience as we have had a wonderful time on each trip to the IOP.

We have stayed at Oceanside Villas multiple times in different units. B 108 is now one of our favorite properties. Having balcony away from the pool side is nice. Furnishings and appliances were good. HVAC worked well. No problems with the rental unit during our stay. Hope to reserve B 108 again!

We loved this unit. Didn't face the pool so no noise. Air conditioner worked quite well for 100 degree days. Owner instantly responded to maintenance item. Kitchen well stocked but you do need to add a spatula.

We used this property as a comfortable place to stay during a big golf week. It was very comfortable and relaxing, the internet connection was very valuable, and we were pleasantly surprised by the great restaurant options nearby and how close the beach is. Cell service in the unit is not great, so keep that in mind (we just went outside to talk)

While the patio view is of the neighboring condo, you can not beat the first floor location. This unit is clean and comfortable. Wifi and new TV's in each room. Walk to all shops and food on IOP, yet quiet at night.

We came down for a wedding, so it was a busy trip but overall nice. Only negative comment, I wise we would have asked of additional bath towels starting for the first day.

Answer:

This unit includes parking in the community's shared lot. You will not have a designated spot, however, only guests of Oceanside Villas may park in the community lot so you will not need to worry about finding street parking.

Notice that non-master bath had floor issues. Has this been addressed?

Answer:

This information was passed along to the property's owner who must make all final decisions in regard to updates to the unit. While we can confirm that workers were able to come out to inspect the unit, it was determined that the integrity of the structure was sound and no work has been done at this time.
