This is a charming 1950's oceanfront beach house with 8 bedrooms and 4 bathroom, private board walk to the beach, updated kitchen, rocking chair porch and the most beautiful sunsets over the Atlantic ocean. This is 2 story home with 4 bedrooms on each floor. In the lower level there is a ping pong table for a little family competition. On the 2nd level you will enjoy a new kitchen with quartz counter tops, an open living area with ocean views and an additional 4 bedrooms.

Additional Notes: Private boardwalk goes 3/4 of the way to the beach, the last 1/4 is a sandy path to beach. Linens, WiFi are included. Please no smoking and no pets. Please do not park on Palm Blvd they will ticket - please park on the driveway or behind the knee wall.

The house at 3308 was just fine but the house did not come with laundry soap, cleaning supplies, food storage containers or baggies, beach towels, extra towels, bath matts or spare sheets. There were only enough packets for one load of dishwashing per day. It was bare bones and felt extremely skimpy.

This house was perfect for our 11 guests with one bedroom not even used! It is an older home as described and the bottom floor had odor of an old home that had been shut up and not used frequently during the winter. Kitchen was well furnished and there was plenty of gathering space for visiting. Great beach access.

We had the opportunity to stay at 3308 Palm and it was a blast. It's an older home, but it was very clean and you can't beat the location. It is right on the beach and approximately half way between the park and marina. We could walk directly out to the ocean on a private boardwalk and everything else was a short bike ride away.

Major problem with internet and TV all week until Marks finally figured out the problem and fixed it. Palm Blvd houses are so far from the beach hard for someone in later years to walk the distance plus going over sand dunes. Ocean Blvd is much better but hard to find a house that fits our needs and $$$

These accommodations were very vacation friendly. Brought back memories of the old beach homes, 4 bed rooms on each floor surrounding a large den, game area. Porches offer excellent ocean views
for morning coffee or evening cocktails. Don’t expect luxury, just laid back leisure time.

Being a local and having rented beach houses my whole life, we found the perfect house for our family to enjoy our son's wedding on the Isle of Palms. This house is well equipped for cooking, with lots of pots, pans, glasses, serving dishes, etc. The open floor plan on both floors was perfect. The porches were big and gave a beautiful view of the beach. It was more than enough room for the 14 that stayed there, with extra room for a few last minute sleepover guests.

We had 5 families stay for a week at the Beach. We were on the beach from 10am to 6pm daily. We were blessed with great weather and a perfect tide schedule. The house was large and accommodating. The beach location was not crowded and we had plenty of space to enjoy the ocean.

Great location, house was super clean and big enough for 4 families. Description was accurate and the view is beautiful. Walk to the beach is easy. House is older but there are no issues with it, and it's a great value! Yard was big enough for games and grill worked well.
There were bikes we were able to use, some games, puzzles- all the things that make a great rental!
Washer and dryer are new and worked great!
There are no screens in the windows. Totally fine- we used the AC, but in April we probably wouldn't have needed to.
Would stay again!

We love this house! The house and grounds are beautifully decorated, and we add everything we needed for small or large dinner gatherings. The dunes and beach are splendid, and we were able to enjoy nice restaurants on Isle of Palms and Sullivan's Island, and tour Charleston as well. Wild Dunes golf courses and Charleston National are great close by golf courses. Wednesday nights at Awendah Green is great live music and food (cash only). We would not hesitate to rent this house again. If anything, it is a bit nicer than the listing portrays it. Our group ranged in age from 27 to 72, and everyone loved it!

Stay was great except for few issues with plumbing system that did not drain water into gutters properly.
Upstairs AC was not cooling good enough even after closing all doors and windows.

What is the cancellation policy?

Answer:

You can cancel your reservation; however, you will not get a refund unless the property is re-rented for the same dates and rate as your reservation.

Island Realty has a 10% cancellation fee, and the remainder of your deposit is held pending the re-rental of the property.

If you are paid in full for the reservation, all money will be held until we can re-rent the property. If the property is not re-booked, the entire balance will be forfeited to Island Realty, regardless of whether or not a full deposit was made at the time of booking.

Purchasing travel insurance may help with a reimbursement if cancellation is prompted by an extenuating circumstance. Read more about travel insurance HERE.
