Description

Panoramic ocean views when you walk straight out onto the beach from your screened in porch. This first floor, condo is a beach lover’s dream. The living room and bedroom feature sliding glass doors to access the fabulous screened porch, which stairs bring you directly to the beach and steps away from the complex pool. There is a fully equipped kitchen with crisp white cabinetry, stainless-steel appliances, and a granite countertop that you could cook any gourmet meal on. The living room offers beautiful furnishings, including a queen sleeper sofa, flat screen 75" Smart TV. The master bedroom is peaceful and comfortable, with a King bed and brand new mattress as of March 2024, a flat screen Smart TV, and direct access to the screened porch. After a long day on the beach, come back and take a long hot shower in the beautiful walk-in shower. Every day you can enjoy the sunrise AND the sunsets on the screened in porch with endless ocean views.

**Important Notice: Please be advised that a siding and window construction project will be taking place on all Port O' Call buildings except for Building D. The work is scheduled to start on November 4th and continue through mid-March. During this period, guests may experience construction noise from adjacent buildings.**

We always enjoy our stay at the beach. We stayed in this same unit last year. This unit needs updating on its cookware and glassware. It has no wine glasses unless martini glasses are supposed to serve as wine glasses. For the second year in a row we have had to ask our daughter who lives in Park Circle to loan us some wine glasses. There are no cutting boards and no sheet pan for doing a frozen pizza. Also, the refrigerator door will not shut securely so we were constantly finding it open. The trash bag (yes, just one) was thin as dry-cleaner cover bag. You get one bath towel for the week and no extra. There is no flat top "coffee" table in the TV room. The stitched leather top "table/foot rest is not very good for edibles and drinks.

Based on your suggestions, we’ve added a brand-new cookware set and more wine glasses, along with cutting boards and a sheet pan for added convenience. Regarding the refrigerator, we’ve inspected it and didn’t find any issues, but we’ll continue to monitor it closely just to be safe. We also want to clarify that we provide a “starter pack” of amenities in our rentals, which includes basic supplies to get you through the first few days. As for the towels, we wish you had reported the shortage during your stay, as there should have been 8 sets provided. We look forward to welcoming you back soon and hope your next visit is even better!

We thought the house was not very well maintained and equipped, especially in the kitchen. We had to request assistance with getting the television to work. When the technician arrived he was able to help us with the living room television, but not with the bedroom television. He said he would have to contact the owner and at that time he did not have the owner's contact information. He never returned to get this television operational. He did however make arrangements to have a much needed broom delivered to our unit. We have rented through Island Realty previously, but would not stay in this unit again.

Very nice cozy and relaxing. Nicely furnished and well kept. Only one thing needed some new cooking pots and pans, plus a cookie sheet for like fries, biscuits, etc. We will be back!

We always chose one of these with the screen porch right on the ocean. Just to help others, would be nice to put a note on the bedroom tv that the doors under the tv have to be open to use the tv.

The Condo was perfect for our stay. Loved having the ocean view from kitchen, bedroom, and porch. Drank coffee on the porch and watched the sun come up. Bed was very comfortable and condo stocked appropriately. Easy walk to ocean. Long Island Cafe was the best seafood restaurant Highly recommend it.

This beach side rental is absolutely wonderful! Access to the beach is literally just a few steps down the porch stairs. We appreciated how quiet and peaceful it was around our unit. The bedroom was spacious with plenty of storage space for our clothes. We liked the design of the rental that allowed us to close the doors between the kitchen/living room and the bedroom to create privacy. The only improvements is a few more kitchen items, as simple as a pizza pan. One night we bought a bake-at-home pizza from the grocery store only to find the unit did not have any bakeware. It was very frustrating to have a kitchen without some basics. The unit could use a deep cleaning, but it was good enough for our few days stay. Overall, we had a great stay and would not hesitate on booking another trip in the future.

The unit has excellent views. Nice deck seating. The sofa and chairs in the living room are comfortable. Nice 75-inch Samsung TV. The bed, however, is a different story; it needs to have the box springs and mattress replaced. The mattress is a mainstay mattress from Walmart. The date on the tag is Dec 2021. Woke up sore every morning. For the amount you pay for a week in this unit, it's a small thing to ask that the bed have more than a Wal-Mart mattress on it. The shower door would not slide. We called maintenance to fix it. We tried the door that evening, and the bracket fell right off. To fix the door properly the track needed to be taken off and the guide bracket installed properly. We did not call back to maintenance as we expected the same outcome once the person "fixed" the problem. This could be a great rental unit with attention to a few details.

We stayed at Port O Call as part of a large family trip before the holiday. Everything was in good condition and comfortable. One small note I'd make is the cell coverage for both Verizon and TMobile was very weak inside the condo. It would also be nice to see recycling added to the property.

This condo was very clean and the location to the beach amazing. We enjoyed the view of the ocean from all rooms and morning coffee in the screen porch was the best.

Six days at port o call

We were delighted from Island Realty that we could check in two hours early!
We were at Port O Call #B102. It was pretty; however, there a few things that need to be tended to.
1. The bed was terrible! New mattress needed badly.
2. The shower door does not work. One of the doors is off the track.
3. The upholstered sofa is sort of grungy.
4. There is a fold up rocker on the screened in porch that I tried to sit in. It started to pitch me, buy fortunately my husband was helping me and rescued me from falling. Since I am handicapped, it was very scared!
We will be back, maybe not in that unit, but we will rent from you! You are the best!!

My husband and I spent another great week on Isle of Palms! This condo is lovely. Beautifully decorated and kitchen pretty well supplied for preparing meals. It was so nice to sit on the screened porch for morning coffee and it's just a few steps from the beach. We always stay with Island Realty due to the quality of the properties and their excellent customer service. Looking forward to our next trip.

This place is amazing!! Loved the screen porch and that it's right on the beach!! Our only complaint is the needs to be replaced badly..very noisey..wakes you up just turning over. Other than that, it's perfect! We've already booked again for next year!

Almost everything in the condo was perfect - cleanliness, furnishings, location, appliances. Only one thing detracted from the stay - the mattress. It would crunch and creak with every movement, with excessive motion transfer - that is person moving on one side would cause bounce and shift on other side.

Very nice, remodeled, clean condo. Great furniture. Sliding glass doors looked almost new to our eyes. Very quiet property. Could hear folks above us walking about, but they were quiet. Screen on the porch door on the ocean front side was hanging by a thread, maybe two. Texted maintenance per instructions in the room. Very prompt response by text. It was fixed mid-day the same day. I have stayed many places at the beach, and this may be the best view ever! The condo is literally right on the beach - you walk off the back porch onto the sand. You can see the wide beach & ocean from the kitchen sink, family room, foyer and bedroom. I woke up to sea oats right outside the bedroom window. You can see the sun rise from the bed!! (That is a 1st!). I would love to stay here again.

Great location with constant view of ocean and the dunes. The two comfy chairs on the porch were definitely our favorite spot for taking in this view, and the porch’s immediate access to the beach made it all the better! The condo had all the amenities we needed for a full 4 night stay with no real reason to leave after we acquired food supplies from the grocery store only 10 minutes away.
Our only issue was noticing that the porch we enjoyed so much is in need of some care. Both wood and metal connectors over head are rapidly degrading, likely due to the salty air. This became very apparent when someone chose to hammer and drill on porch above, leading to chips of wood and rusted metal raining down on us. We were able to use the broom and dust pan to clean off porch, then continuing to enjoy the location. Just think some repairs should be done to avoid this or further decay in the future, as we hope to be able to enjoy this condo and porch again in the future!

This unit is really nice, was very clean, and we loved the screened in porch. The kitchen was well-equipped except for the coffee pot. We don't use the pods and had to improvise, but that is the only small issue. We were very comfortable, and the folks at Island Realty were extremely helpful.

This property currently features a traditional drip-style coffee pot (uses grounds & filters).

Although some owners choose to provide beach chairs/umbrellas for their guests, they are not items that we require our owners to provide so we cannot guarantee that there will be any in the unit for guest use. However, should you need them, we recommend renting chairs/umbrellas from a local company, IOP Beach Chair Co.
