Check-in was simple and convenient. The guest who arrived first was able to check in. The rental had plenty of space for our 10 guests. The big porches and swimming pool was a plus. The elevator was handy for transporting luggage. The manager responded to questions promptly. It was an overall great stay.

As soon as you walk into the home, you feel a sense of grandeur and awe. It is truly a gorgeous house. There is so much space and it's tucked away, close to the beach and a convenient drive to the center of town. The porches are amazing. We hung out the most here. There are so many options on the porches: dining table, rocking chairs, lounge chairs, and a hammock! We called maintenance for something and were taken care of promptly. The only cons: there was a pool but no pool towels were provided even though we were told linens were included. Not a deal breaker, but irritating. And, the beds were hard. But some people like that! I would most certainly stay here again and recommend others to stay here as well.

29 Sand Dollar Drive was perfect! The house was absolutely beautiful and VERY accommodating for our group size. Everything was kept very neat and clean which was apparent upon first arriving. The location was also amazing with a beach access only a short walk across the street. If anything, I feel like the photos in this listing do not showcase how great this property is. 10/10 would stay here again and recommend to anyone visiting IOP. We loved that our beach access was less crowded and that we could walk to the Outpost at the marina in the morning for delicious cold brew.

House: gorgeous and for the most part very comfortable.
Bunk Room: four 29 year old females shared this room and all complained of feeling the coil in the mattresses. Not comfortable at alll.
Porches and porch furniture were dirty. Should have been hosed off and vacuumed before our arrival.
Pool: very dirty and because of lack of sun from the overgrown trees, we were not able to use it.
Blender: I had emailed earlier in the week and was told there was one but could not find one.
With the exception of the bunk room , this house is very comfortable. It is a beautiful house!

We had a great time at the house. We were in town for kids tournament. The house was very clean and as advertised in the photos. The floorplan was great and enjoyed the inverted floorplan and all the living spaces. It was an easy walk to the beach (2 blocks) and would come definitely stay here again.

Our second time at Sandollar Drive 29. Love the open kitchen and master bedrooms! Enough bathrooms for all. We enjoyed cooking in the big open kitchen and eating on the porch to view the lovely palm trees and walk to the ocean. Loved the beach that was not as crowded as the public one. Pool is smaller but very enjoyable and was the grandkids favorite place! Island Realty was very nice to work with and we hope to return again next year!

Island Realty came through when I was looking for accommodations for the full extended family with 24 people ranging from 7 months to 78 years old. We were able to rent 29 Sand Dollar and 31 Sand Dollar and be side by side. The elevator and large bedrooms in 29 Sand Dollar was perfect for the older people and the 2 pools between the 2 houses was excellent as well. The huge porches were great for relaxing outside. This was our 2nd time staying at 29 Sand Dollar and we are already talking about making it a 3rd time next year. Great spots.

This is a beautiful home very close to the entrance to Wild Dunes and a little more than a 1/2 mile walk to the Marina. We loved the elegant finishes, how spacious the house was, being able to use the elevator to get luggage upstairs, the huge bathrooms and cute bunkbeds that sleep four kids comfortably, just to name a few highlights. The kitchen is also luxurious and welcoming to the cook and to entertaining. The pool was small but nice. You can walk to the beach in five minutes as well! Only problem we had was with the grill, and Island Realty brought over a replacement and attached propane for us. Appreciate the great service and easy vacation!

We enjoyed our stay at Sandollar Drive 29 very much. The house was beautiful and we loved cooking in the amazing kitchen! Plenty of room for our three families. We ate outside on the veranda quite often for the beautiful view of palm trees. My granddaughter loved the hammock to relax on! The pool was narrow but adequate for us and the house had many pool and beach toys for us to enjoy. Short walk to the beach that was not very crowded when we were there. We would definetly go back to this lovely home! Took our grandchildren on the dolphin boat tour with Eco Tours and that was a highlight of our stay!

House was clean and well appointed...the walk to the beach was very managable...two recomendation...we cook a lot of our vacation meals and the kitchen could use a redo on pots pans and cooking tools...secondly the exterior of the home is degrading...rotten boards on steps and stair rails...thanks for another great visit to the IoP!

We spent a wonderful 10 days at 29 Sand Dollar drive on the Isle of Palms. The location was perfect and the house accommodated our family of 6 very well with plenty of space for everyone. We enjoyed great family time cooking in the home’s fabulous kitchen, eating outside on the amazing porch, and playing countless games of Monopoly on the dedicated game tables set up in each of the 2 family room areas.
Island Realty made the experience seamless and they were so helpful to make sure we were set up with local recommendations for everything from restaurants, local fishing, shopping and plenty of activities.

This was the first time I've rented a beach house. I was very pleased with the house overall. My guest and I loved the fact that there was an ensuite in every room and 1/2 baths for our guest. The proximity to the beach was a short fun daily walk. I wish I would have inquired about using the elevator since I brought my elderly parents and the 3 flights of stairs wore them out going to the kitchen. I also wish we had a code for the garage door opener since it rained. Our overall stay and the house had plenty of room and was well decorated.

29 Sand Dollar is gorgeous with all of the modern amenities that you could need at the beach. We were able to VERY comfortably sleep 11 adults with room to spare. The kitchen is amazing and modern. The porches are massive and a great place to spend mornings and evenings. The 2 block walk to the beach is manageable and the private pool was extremely refreshing after a day at the beach. The elevator was a welcome surprise as well. Our family and friends had a great time in the beautiful home. We will be back.

Very nice, clean home in a perfect location with enough space for family of 10.

Pool was not maintained nor clean, therefore never used during the stay.

Part of the service should include fresh towels to be provided a few times during a week stay.

Top bunk beds sheets were not made upon arrival.The request to strip beds at the end of a stay shouldn't be the guest's responsibility, but part of housekeeping duties.

Thank you for your comments. The pool is cleaned weekly. Unfortunately during your stay we had afternoon thunderstorms for most of the week causing the debris to build up. Thankfully the owners keep a skimmer there to use in case it becomes a problem. We can provide fresh towels during your stay for a fee, or we also provide a starter set of laundry detergent as well. The bunk beds are normally not made up for the safety of our housekeeping staff. They will be cleaned and stripped with clean linens there to use if you choose to use the top bunk.

This gorgeous BeachHouse is so much more than the online pics show.! I walked in and literally couldnt stop smiling�� Tastefully decorated and fully equipped for anything & every need. We had such a great time we extended it an extra day. The check in was such a quick pleasant experience. I was notified that my rental would be ready early as well. I can't tell you how relaxing it is to be informed of the information, and be in and out very quickly when checking in. Location was great, house was immaculate, and beautiful, and well appointed. We would recommend it to anyone. Only issue we had was that the kids room bunk beds were not made up with sheets, other than that we could not be more happier with our stay.

This home was everything (and more!) as described....we were a family of 10 (4 under the age of 11) attending a local wedding.... everyone had their own space, more than comfortable surroundings and a perfect logistical location for all that we wanted to do. Loved every day, even with the threat of Hurricane Michael remnants coming through... The beautifully appointed, clean and well maintained, large home sits just a block or so from the wide clean beach...with another option of a great pool at the house.... We just spent a wonderful vacation at 29 Sand Dollar Drive...where many happy memories were made....and talk of a return as soon as possible!

What a beautiful place to spend time while on Isle of Palms. Plenty of garage space for several cars. The pool was a great plus to use. One of largest and modern kitchens I’ve ever seen. Great for entertaining our friends and family for having a low country boil dinner. All 4 full baths and 2 half baths were updated to the highest quality. The two master baths are the largest that I have ever big as normal size bedrooms. Overall an outstanding place to stay on the beach. Only two blocks down the street from access to the beach.

This property is absolutely beautiful!The home itself is full of southern charm with the spacious porches (we spent hours here in the mornings and evenings), huge gourmet kitchen with walk in pantry, two master bedrooms (very nice touch for two families sharing the home), separate family room area downstairs for the kids to hang out(7 total ages 9-19), pool just large enough for the kids to enjoy, easy walk to the beach, and more.Only two suggestions for the property--a second dishwasher at the island near the main sink.The island sink is near the stove and oven so naturally all dishes go in there. We had to carry dirty dishes across the kitchen to load the dishwasher(2nd sink).Second, and this is just a bonus amenity--a hot tub would be a fantastic addition making the house perfect! Decor was gorgeous and professionally decorated. The area rug and furniture in the main family room are a bit tired with stains. We needed to call PM for a couple things. They easily fixed the elevator and clogged sink (was clogged upon arrival). However, we called about a wasp nest located under the back stairs near the porches and access to pool where we spent a lot of time. Someone came out with Raid Spray (which we had already bought and used), so the problem persisted throughout our visit. One of our boys was stung 4-5 times on day 1 which was our reason for calling in the first place. They really should have a professional pest control deal with this problem and not the PM maintenance person. This could be a problem if it had been a smaller child or someone with allergies. It definitely was bothersome. Also, needs an additional outdoor trash container--our trash bags piled up outside because there was only one. We loved the property overall, and would absolutely recommend it and return to this home! It was perfect for our two families. Also, we brought our own air mattress with linens, but there are two air mattresses with linens at the property! Nice to know that!

We had a great time once we were able to move in. Irma was a problem but the staff communicated with us the entire time and let us check in as soon as they were able. Only downside is my daughter left her pillow and long time best friend - her stuffed bear - inside the location. Although lost and found made a great effort to try and locate the left behind items, they were never recovered, even though we knew exactly where they were left. Make sure you pack up everything when you leave, the cleaning crew must do a really good job as they will trash what they think is trash.

This house is awesome. Gorgeous finishings everywhere you look. It's extremely spacious and can accommodate over 10 people if needed (set up some air mattresses). We had 11 people one night and it was more than enough room. The pool isn't that large, but it's great for cooling off after spending time on the beach. The place was immaculate, by far the cleanest house I've ever rented. Completely spotless. Upper and lower porches offer spacious and comfortable lounging. The beach is just a short, straight shot right off the back of the property. This house exceeded everyone's expectations and we wouldn't hesitate to rent this property again. Island Realty has outdone themselves with this property. Extremely professional, knowledgeable, and courteous staff. Island Realty is the best and I will be using them again in the near future!

Really loved the house! The large family room and kitchen were great for our group. The size of the kitchen exceeded our expectations and the ice maker was an awesome feature. We did expect it to to be equipped with some items that were missing or non-functional (blender, shrimp deveiner, strainer). The bedrooms with private baths were a plus. One of the best features was the porch which we used to greet the morning and for relaxation in the evenings. We did feel that if the elevator was advertised it should have been usable. That was disappointing. The short walk to be beach was nice. Overall we enjoyed our stay at this fantastic home!

Beautiful home near the beach! You open the front door to discover soaring ceilings, crown molding in karma and wide plank heart pine flooring. The kitchen is outfitted with commercial grade appliances. Every corner is field with luxury! The views from the double piazzas are beautiful! We will definitely stay here again!

This was an excellent rental property with spacious living areas and an amazing kitchen, very easy to entertain with plenty of seating options as well. The bedrooms, bathrooms, and closets are huge. We especially enjoyed the location. The back of the house faces the ocean and is a direct shot to the beach. The garages are exceptionally large and accessible. Overall, the house was equipped with essentials such as toilet paper and was extremely clean. We would definitely recommend using this property.
