It was a great place to get away with a little work mixed in. The unit had everything I needed except warm water. I had 3 cold showers. After the 1st one, I called and maintenance attended to it immediately however nothing changed. It's hard to stay relaxed with cold showers so that was very disappointing. Besides that it was great.

It was nice. Unfortunately, parking not enforced. Many people not staying at Sea Cabins using the parking lot. We saw one family leave the beach through the dunes and strip their 7 to 8 year old boy nude to use the shower. Mother and father also changed clothes in the parking lot.

I have been renting Sea Cabins for years. They are ocean front with their own swimming pool and fishing pier. You can walk to dining, pizza, ice cream and shopping. There is entertainment in music too, and drinking, so you don't have to drive. We stated in C building in which you have morning sun on porch and not the hot afternoon sun, just to keep that in mind. The places are neat and clean.

We had a fantastic stay. First off walking in the first day the unit smelled clean. Check in process was also a breeze. I also appreciated all the text message updates before/during the hurricane/tropical storm. My only suggestion would be that the couch bed could be replaced to something more comfortable, but it got the job done for our stay. This unit is super close to the beach and love the pier access. We would definitely stay here again!!

Well, there needs to be more kitchenware, plates, towels and washcloths, small plastic bowls to use for remainder if food. There were not any at all for us. Missing a set I'd sheets for bunk bed. Overall, nice place.

Well satisfied overall. Staff is always wonderful and a location convenient to everything. This particular unit could use a new sofa and mattress. Both were well worn and kitchen equipment was not the best I’ve seen and I certainly don’t expect top grade utensils in a rental unit, but...We will definitely be back to Sea Cabins but I’d be more likely to rent a unit that the owners had updated and renovated a bit more. And I say this as a conscientious renter who tries to treat the unit as an owner would.

This is a nice little place for a beach get a way.
Only issues was the light outside the bedroom always shines in a night when trying to sleep.

Condo is as advertised. Remodeled kitchen is excellent. Only had 3 forks n the drawer, texted management, And they brought 3 new forks the next day. The condo is only a few maintenance issues away from perfect. Hot water faucet handle loose in bathroom, needs transition strips from bathroom floor to new hall and bedroom floors. AC system design poor- no vent in bathroom, poor air flow in bedroom, only 1 vent in living room/ kitchen area. Complex is well maintained considering its age. Pool, beach access, pier are great. Management very responsive. Location great! I would recommend sea cabins for anyone with a small family or group.

The location is outstanding, with direct beach access and a private fishing pier with cleaning table and running water. I will be back. The cabin itself is rather uncomfortable. It needs a better shade to block the balcony light shining into the bedroom. And the barstools are very uncomfortable-felt like I was sitting in a Starbucks.

Cute, sweet little condo. Perfect for 2 people or a couple with young kids. Need to change the mattress out in the bedroom for something more comfortable with better sheets/deeper pockets! The bed is worn out. We bought an egg crate while we were there. Otherwise would definitely rent again!

My wife and I have rented various Sea Cabin units dozens of times for well over a decade. This fall we rented 241 C and found it to be clean, very comfortable, nicely decorated, great appliances and adequately equipped. The view from this unit is a plus. We will definitely keep 241 C on our A list. Heads up that Island Realty managed properties provide one roll of toilet paper and beyond that you are on your own. That's fairly chintzy. Two rolls should cover a one week stay but one probably won't.

We've stayed at Sea Cabins several times and you just can't beat it for the location. You are right on the beach, it is very quiet and super family friendly. This property in particular had some nice updates, but overall was a little dated and dingy. It wasn't as clean as I would have hoped, especially considering the current Covid realities. There were roach traps everywhere you looked, and even though we didn't see any it made it seem like there had been a big outbreak and seemed like overkill. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable and noisy. There were half-finished details in the bathroom, including where they had refinished the floor, but threshold between the rooms wasn't complete with bare wood sticking out that caused a few stubbed toes. It also had an odd smell. We've definitely stayed in some that were in better shape.

Also - we requested to do contactless check-in when booking and then called the day of check-in to confirm, but still had to stand in line indoors and wait with other customers because the clerk said it had been a busy day and she didn't get to it. That was probably true, but that with the cleanliness factor led me to feel like they didn't take extra precautions seriously.

The overall facility and location of Sea Cabins is excellent. Safe, clean, peaceful, great views, right on the beach, well equipped kitchen, basically everything you want for a time at the beach. What you do not want however is a noisy uncomfortable bed and an unfinished floor installation. For the insane profits the owners get for their investment, reasonable accommodation would be preferred which includes a comfortable mattress. This one was the noisiest bed I had ever experienced and was too soft....springy even, which I assume was part of the sound it would make (it sounded like a giant po-go stick). I was grateful for the new paint job and flooring in the unit but the bathroom floor level was a half inch lower and created a stumbling issue and could even cut or injure someone's bare foot. We put a rug over it since closing the door was not necessary.

Pretty quiet considering so many units are so close together. Grounds immaculate. Concierge told me the pool is open year-round! Difficult to get comfortable on couch; it needs to be replaced. Called maintenance twice for TV issues; they responded quickly and were polite and professional.

The location is great and views are wonderful! The pool is nice and clean. Unit is comfortable overall, but bed is VERY creaky and not the best. Couch and rugs could be replaced. Also, the cable in living room wasn't working. We had a great time overall.

this unit again. It needs updating. The couch was so
broken that when you sat down you felt like you were on the floor. The rugs were badly stained. The property as a whole had an old, tired feeling.

Overall, we had a wonderful experience at Sea Cabin 241 C. We highly recommend it to other renters. To be helpful to the owner, we would suggest an investment in new rugs, new pillows (replaced frequently), and a new (quieter) exhaust fan in the bathroom. The couch could stand to be replaced, as it is very worn (cushions are no longer holding up), and stained. Leather furniture would make more sense, as it is easier to clean. Also, the floors could use a really good deep cleaning. I hope this doesn’t sound negative, because we really enjoyed it and would rent again.

Excellent stay with Island Realty at the Sea Cabins. We had nice facilities that could stand some updating. The faucet in the bathroom sink hot water side was loose. The ceiling in the BR around the vent showed signs of moisture damage or some other issue was evident causing the sheetrock tape come loose. Overall the facility was in great shape. The swimming pool was kept clean and the pool deck was always ready for use. Employees were always helpful and eager to help make our stay pleasant. CK in was quick and accommodating and the gentleman assisting us was on crutches and I would like to personally thank him for his pleasant personality and welcome smile. We do plan on coming back. Enjoyable overall. Great location and ocean views for IOP. The bed frame squeaks and is not very comfortable. In addition, the ceiling fan in the bedroom is noisy. The couch has some stains and the leather chair is VERY worn. Ceiling fan on the balcony would be WONDERFUL!!

I wish the management will put better quality of bed instead of the cheap bed. Every time you get up to to use the bathroom etc. you'll indeed up waking up the person next to you because the bed is squeaking so bad, we had the same issue last time we were here. So, obviously, they put the same cheap bed on every condo. For all the places we've stayed, this is the worst bed we've ever had!

Location, Location, Location! We love being right on the beach. It is so easy to enjoy. We don't have to find & pay for parking or lug a day's supplies to the beach. We just grab a chair and a towel several times a day and walk 200 steps to the beach. We will be back in October!

This was our first trip to Isle of Palms and we really enjoyed it. Our condo was nice and clean, which is super important to me. Nothing was broken, everything g worked as it should. The couch was a bit stained but we just put a flat sheet over it and it was fine. We will definitely be back!!

It is true that the Sea Cabins are a small little piece of beach fun! On each Sea Cabin description we do let all of our guests know that there is only 490 square feet in a Sea Cabin. Even though they are small, the Sea Cabins have everything you need and more for a great beach get away!!

Mostly wonderful. The weather was super cold (uh, it snowed... haha) so we stayed inside more than usual.

You can't beat the location. The view is beautiful. The sofa bed needs to be replaced. Also the faucets in the bathroom were leaky, broken and moldy which made the unit feel more like a ghetto Motel 6 than the expensive rental is. I informed maintenece of the faucet multiple times during my two week stay and they did nothing. It was kind of gross having to handle the moldy faucet. I'd recommend the property if I knew it was replaced.

Small living with a million dollar view! We enjoy the Sea Cabins on Isle of Palms for their location to the shops and restaurants, as well as an excellent grocery within walking distance. Breakfast at Sea Biscuit Cafe is a must, and Acme Lowcountry Kitchen offers wonderful southern food with a flair! Sunday Brunch at the Boathouse and Rusty Rudder up on HWY 17 were also favorites. Beside enjoying the view, there are music events, shops, and restaurants nearby...and a visit to Charleston is only 12 miles away!
Sea Cabins are not spacious, but the ones that have been well maintained offer enough space for two people who get along...241C was one of the better ones, though a simple replacement of floor rugs and an updated stove would be worthwhile improvements. Very clean, and any issues that arose were immediately handled by maintenance staff. Have been staying in various Sea Cabins for 15 years...including two winters. Island Realty is always wonderful, with a friendly and helpful staff.

Our 2nd three-month winter retreat at the Sea Cabins at IOP continues to be an enjoyable experience in 'small living' with a million-dollar view. The cabin is just enough space, with opportunities to take advantage of many local places to visit...Poe Library keeps us supplied in books; antique shops to browse on cool or rainy days...Charleston Market, Deep River Winery, a trip to Beaufort and more, plus lots of steps walking the beach (almost) every day! And such friendliness everywhere we go.

I have been visiting Isle of Palms for nearly 15 years, always staying at Sea Cabins, a place right on the beach without having to include 10 other people to rent a large beach house! This is a friendly, wonderful community that offers excellent restaurant choices within walking distance, evening music venues, and if you need a break from the ocean, only 12 miles from Charleston. Never disappointed...and if there are minor issues with our condo, they are always taken care of by the staff at Island Realty. Sea Cabin 241C was nicely furnished (except only 2 drinking glasses in the cupboard! We purchased four more from Target to leave for the next guests...perhaps a few more could be added before our 3 month stay this winter!). I have learned to book only those units with a deluxe rating, meaning they have been more recently updated and well worth the extra price. I highly recommend Sea Cabins for couples who want the beach experience without the group.

Loved our stay at the Sea Cabins. The location is perfect and our place was very comfortable and was very clean (except for the area rug had some dirty spots). The oven was an apt. size which was updated but seemed to heat too high. Hard to judge it's time. Drew, from Island Realty was always very nice and helpful with anything we asked. Overall, a great stay and would definitely stay again. Highly recommend it.
