Sea Cabins are the BEST. The condo was exactly as pictured. Very clean. If you are wanting a quiet, relaxing vacation, then this is the place. Grocery store (although I miss the Red and White Store) and restaurants are within walking distance. Would recommend Coconut Joe's and IOPizza.

The condo and location was great. The only thing I would say about the condo is, it needs more storage, especially for the person/people sleeping on the couch. There needs to be a better chair in the living room and some darker curtains. The person sleeping in the living room has no choice but to be up with the sun. Lol

I have stayed at other sea cabin rentals. This was my favorite yet! Recently updated. Very tasteful and clean. Kitchen well stocked. Enjoyed having the bunkbeds not in the unit like other ones still had. It was a great place for bags, etc.
Matress and couch both comfortable. I loved the rocker in the living area. Great views. It is on the third floor so lots of steps, but worth it! I will definitely atay again!
Only complaint was restrooms at the pool. They needed some cleaning desperately and soap!

Had a wonderfully enjoyable stay at 329B! It has nicely been renovated and perfect for a couple's getaway! The oceanfront view, pool, and private pier access was perfect. Easily walkable to several restaurants/bars/etc...never moved the car! Only recommendation was to add a hairdryer (I typically don't bring one) and the AC seemed to never get cooler than 72? Thats possibly part of the settings but it was running a lot, although it was also very hot outside. Would definitely stay again!

We adore the Sea Cabins. Everything was fabulous except a couple little things. The air conditioning was freezing and fixed so we could not change it and no screen door on the sliding glass door. No ocean sound at night.�� But otherwise, the staff went above and beyond and our little place was immaculate, inviting and stocked with everything we needed for a most enjoyable stay on IOP. We will return again and again.

We had a wonderful time at this recently updated condo. The owner didn’t miss a detail in her decorating and design choices. Loved the walk-in shower, the barn door in the bedroom, the bed was very comfortable and the package of toiletries was a very nice touch. The condo was extremely clean and the furniture in the living room and on the deck was great!
The view from the porch couldn’t be better. We ate all our meals there!

When you walk into condo you get the feeling you are at the beach! Beautiful decoration. Very tastefully decorated. Everything matches with beach theme. It shows the owner cares and wants you to have a pleasant experience. I travel a lot and have stayed in condos that I swear the owner pulled a U-Haul up to a thrift store and loaded it up with whatever furniture that was old and not matching. Not this place at all kudos to the decorator! A must stay. A lot of steps though to get up to 3rd floor.

We were very impressed with 329B Sea Cabin when we recently stayed there while attending a family wedding in Charleston. It was probably the cleanest place we've ever rented in that area. Beautifully decorated and equipped with everything we needed. We've already booked it again for next year.

Wish we were still there. Some things of note: the refrigerator is very noisy. There has been a critter on the balcony...there's little poop, might want to trim the tree that's against the railing. Everything else was perfect and no reason not to leave 5 ☆'s!!

For the most part, we enjoyed our rental. The proximity to the beach was wonderful. There are several things that would have made our stay better. First, the water did not get cool enough in the shower. The hot water handle did not work. When you turned the shower handle up, it was automatically hot water. Then you added the cold as needed. This was not satisfactory because the water was still very warm for a shower.

Second, I would recommend an upgrade on the sheets for the main bed. They were not good quality. The pillows could also use upgrade. They were flat. The towels and wash cloths were great.

Finally, I know you must have a policy or rule about lowering the thermostat to only 72. However, this was also not satisfactory. We enjoy a VERY cool home and would have liked to have had the ability to lower the temperature to about 68.

The kitchen was well furnished and refrigerator worked very well.

The living room was nicely furnished as well as the balcony.

My daughter has been a certified life guard for 12 years. She has also maintained pools as part of her job. The week we were at Sea Cabins, the pool was very cloudy which was probably due to lack of proper water flow and improper level of chemicals.

Finally, we feel that the price of washing and drying clothes should be included in the lease. This will give tenants a heads up to bring quarters.

The unit is somewhat dated. Bed and pillows in main bedroom were uncomfortable. Ceiling fan made annoying whining sound all night. Shower showed signs of age/wear and tear- caulking discolored and peeling off. Door jams were full of dirt and other debris. Pesticide applicator showed up during our staycti spray for cockroaches which I did not appreciate. Overall this room was disappointing for the cost.

Pest control is something the Sea Cabin HOA handles and Island Realty has no control over. The chemicals are not harmful for humans and will not affect us. However, the insurance for lost days from hurricane is a bad deal. Only paid a measly portion of days lost after subtracting the insurance cost. Get a different policy to cover guests and/or offer extra days on the same or future rentals!

Upon arrival to the unit we checked in at Island Realty and received our package but could not check in till 4 pm. We checked in at 1 pm. We walked around for a bit then at 3 checked to see if our unit was ready and there seemed that no one was there and the maids had left for the day we phone IR and ask if we could get into out room and was told that it needed to be inspected and they would text us. Well that didn't happen until 4 pm. Would be nice if the room is ready just to let the vacationists get into the room.

This was our first time to stay in section B of the Sea Cabins. The view was fantastic. The unit was as described. We especially liked the blinds and blackout curtains in the bedroom. The brightness of the outside lights seems to be a problem in most units. Thanks for that! We would definitely stay in this unit again.

Accommodations are nice. However, we booked early May in advance for $225 but on arrival learned via the Island Realty website that 329B was "on special" for $130. Island Realty would not consider an adjustment. In effect, booking ahead cost us $95 a night.

We have stayed in many Sea Cabins and this unit is very nice with a great view. The unit was clean, but the balcony was a mess from birds etc. The staff came immediately and cleaned it. I loved having some carpet down, the view, well equipped. High chairs on the balcony and regular chairs and table inside would be nice, but overall it was really pleasant. I will rent this unit again, sometime in the future. Bed was really comfortable - something not always true in the Sea Cabins.

We have stayed in several of the Sea Cabin units and this is our favorite. The unit has a comfortable bed, everything is updated and the owners managed to find ways to make a small unit have everything... except a washer/dryer ( we didn't need one). If we return to the area, this would be our top choice. Management company was very accommodating during a weather emergency to our needs for flexibility when leaving and were pleasant to deal with. There is no elevator so the third floor could be an issue for some, but for us, it was fine.

We had a wonderful stay. Very impressed with how well equipped the condo was and it was very clean. The only downside was it's bit small for four adults and maybe a little more comfortable seating .

We absolutely loved the condo, especially the location, while we were there to celebrate our engagement and my fiance's 40th birthday last week. The owners do a great job of making sure we don't have to bring a lot of stuff with us (ex: kitchen stuffs, linens, towels). The only thing I would change is the bed and pillows. Neither one of us slept well the week we were there and woke up sore the next day.

Only problem was with the guy monitoring car passes gave me a warning and threatened to have car towed even though I had a visible tag hanging in rear view,situation taken care of as soon as I contacted the office

Relax, unwind and enjoy the view. A fresh seafood market is within walking distance. The Sea Cabins are very quiet this time year and the weather allows the HVAC to be off!

* Liked use of space inside seems more open than many other Sea Cabins we have stayed in. But thee is a price for that. Be aware there is no kitchen table and that is where the space comes from. Has stools at bar, which OK, but better would be stools with backs. ..would help our backs.
* Liked the extra chairs and patio table for outside dining. Most units dont have tables outside and thats anice touch.
Other than that great stay. Would recommend.

Answer:

The 3D tour on this property listing has been removed as it was from prior to renovations. We are in the process of updating the 3D tour. For now, please refer to the still photos. At this time, there is no further maintenance scheduled but it is always possible that an owner may choose to make an update, etc. in order for guests to achieve the best possible stay in their unit. The stairs are located on the corners of this property. 329 is not a corner unit.

I am interested in booking but can not bring up pictures. Will they be uploaded soon?

Answer:

This unit recently had a complete renovation! While the new pictures were uploading to our website, you may have been experiencing some issues getting the files to load. I just checked and they are all live and ready to go now!

There are no built-in bunks in this unit. They were removed during the recent renovation and replaced with an entryway organizational area. The property manager has been notified to update this unit's description.
