The location and the view were great! The unit itself is very dated, has some noticeable damage and needs some work - for example the upstairs bathroom door was unusually squeaky and needs some work and the front door handle must have been broken off at some point and was put on backwards - very poorly. The vents were all corroded. Otherwise, it was clean and had clean sheets/towels. It would have been nice to have a few "starter" amenities like coffee or bottled water for at least 1 day!

The location was perfect. We wanted a place on the beach, and it definitely lived up to our expectations. The Condo itself was a bit dated and the amenities were somewhat sparse. For example, there was only one spoon. They had lots of serving spoons, but no regular spoons. Another issue was we had a couple rainy days and we wanted to watch some TV. The condo had ROKU and no directions on how to use that. It was very limited and 3 of the several remotes didn't have batteries. The folks downstairs smoked so we got that every time we went out on the balcony (I know that has nothing to do with the condo..but it still affected our stay). I don't normally complain but the cost of the condo warranted me saying something.

Island Realty was very easy to work with and very responsive to all of our needs., we used the chair rental service from them, which. Was very easy, be prepared however the chairs are very close together, you hear every conversation. Other reviews of this condo are dead on. I the cleaning crew makes it as clean as they can, but you can’t clean the aged everything in this condo. The price is actually a bit high for the condition. The beautiful view is not very enjoyable, a board in the center of the deck is rotted out, there is no shade that a simple umbrella would solve, the deck furniture was broken folding chairs, and a bar type table with bar stools that were horribly uncomfortable and flimsy. While there the deck door wouldn’t open, the downstairs bathroom sink was spraying water everywhere, knobs fell off dresser and the dishwasher would not start, only a spontaneous start. The rental company came and repaired what they could quickly. The upstairs bedroom (not a king which it could easily hold) has a huge section of drywall is opening up along the seam which looks like damage from some sort of a water leak. This is not a rental company issue as much as it is a owner company that needs to do a full Reno. The cabinets were painted, but are falling apart. The stove is an old coil type and the front right burner didn’t work at all and was not attached. I reconnected it and it still didn’t work. Very limited flatware and no plastic containers. There is a cutting board that was covering a large burn and missing Formica counter top. If you want a great view and easy beach access you will get that. But the negatives are tough. Be ready to look past it, we did, but will never rent this place again. I found other rentals just like this one for the same price, with updates galore. It is very dated, really seems like it is all the same materials since it was built.

Clean condo with a great location, beautiful views from deck and main bedroom window. Right on the beach, no roads to cross to get to the beach. Pool right next to the condo. There is not an elevator so you need to be able to go up stairs. We really enjoyed our vacation, this is not an updated condo, but it was clean and comfortable.

This was a great place to stay for my family. It was clean and had more than enough space for the four of us. The view from the living room was great as well. Beach access was easy and you cannot beat its proximity to Charleston. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for the week and all the appliances we needed were there. It is a no frills place and was perfect for a nice beach getaway. Island reality made it so easy to check in and enjoy our stay.

Our family of four enjoyed our stay at this beachfront condo. The view from this specific unit and the location of the complex were both wonderful. The condo was quiet and large. We had so much more space than we would have had in comparably priced alternatives. Yes, the condo is dated, but everything was clean and we were comfortable. We liked the beds and linens too! After reading other reviews, we overpacked on household items like extra towels, toilet paper, etc. - none of that was needed! You will need to bring beach towels. We felt that this condo was a great value and were thankful for all that it offered on our budget.

This unit is located in a great area of IOP. I’ve stayed in many homes and condos nearby. This unit needs new beds. The mattresses were worn out. Other than that.. the property was adequate.

It was a nice unit. Two criticisms, first the outside trash container is way to far away. Second, the cleaners only left 1 trash bag in the unit.

This is the second time we have stayed at 2C Seagrove and we love it. You can’t beat the location and the view. Would be nice if it was a little more updated but nothing that we couldn’t manage.

Great views and a good location, perhaps a bit too close to the busy section of Wild Dunes. Unit was adequate, yet long overdue for upgrades. Peeling and dirty paint, peeling popcorn ceilings, cabinets that must have been original, and mattresses that needed to be replaced. We've stayed at units all over the resort, and while this was a good location, the unit made it less that enjoyable.

I have stayed in Charleston several times and LOVE it. I chose this place for my family because of location and convenience, and it was perfect for those reasons. However, inside the condo it was very dirty, odd odors, cockroaches under the sink, stained bedding and counter tops, and needs many repairs of dripping ceilings, outdated decor, old furniture, and overall needs a remodel. I have never had this experience, and although location was great, the comfort inside was very poor and disappointing.

Fantastic location and a view to die for! This condo is right on the beach - you can’t get any closer to the water and we didn’t mind the 30 minute drive to Charleston! The unit was clean and smelled fresh when we arrived. Other reviews were right that it could use some paint and updates but for the great price and location, we didn’t mind. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and appliances. TVs were great - we appreciated Roku being available. Everything was in working order and we had a great time! Island Realty has also been WONDERFUL to work with. This was our first time renting a condo and they were very professional and easy to work with - and we’re already planning our next trip with them!

You can’t beat the view! The condo wasn’t up to date but it was clean and adequate for a beach visit and master bedroom had picture window that had side windows that opened so sleeping was wonderful I would definitely use it again!

The location is great but the condo did not have basic kitchen supplies such as spices/salt/pepper and coffee filters. It was clean but lots of water stains on the ceiling and some evidence of previous leaking on the walls. The windows in the upstairs bedroom were really hard to open. The place just seemed like it needed some updating and TLC. Otherwise it had plenty of linens and starter supplies and the people were very friendly and helpful!

Great place with a great view. However, really needs kitchen upgrades and the air condition is fair at best.Needs better bedding as well. I have stayed at Wild Dunes through IR several times and this is the worst condo we have had as far as kitchen utencil and beds are concerned.

We've stayed at Wild Dunes three times now, and twice at Seagrove. While our last experience at Seagrove was excellent, this unit was only fair.
This condo is truly oceanfront; you could through a stone into the water at high-tide if you wanted to, and the view is unobstructed, but the interior of the home is in dire need of renovation and upgrades. Dresser drawers had handles that easily pulled-off when trying to open them-exposing sharp, pointy screws instead of bolts-and the kitchen had loose drawer panels that had clearly been glued, unsuccessfully, a number of times. Most of the appliances were worn out and the number of provided basics (e.g. paper towel, trash bags, basic spices) were sparse. Usually when we've rented, we've found basic supplies available and it is certainly a nice touch by owners. The washing machine didn't spin enough to thoroughly remove water from clothing which extends drying time, and the dryer broke while we were there (which Island Realty promptly sent someone to fix--THANK YOU!).
Additional items to consider: the walls, while not disgusting, could use a good cleaning, the fake plants were covered in layers and layers of dust, drywall tape was starting to lift at the edges of the ceiling, and the seating was quite uncomfortable. Also, there was no WiFi available, but we knew that going into the rental.
As mentioned in other reviews, beach access was further than desired, but considering all the storms and the beach erosion work being completed, I would hardly hold this against the owners. Additionally, access was a short, beachfront walk away. The pool at Seagrove is sizable and warm, and the grounds are well maintained.
Overall, the trip was nice, but the unit was only fair, even at the price point. Island Realty was responsive and friendly, and their hands are tied when it comes to the key changes that would really improve this condo unit. I'd recommend Island Realty and Seagrove to others, but not this un

Seagrove 2C is in an awesome location. Located close to the Grand Pavilion AND beachfront. There is quite a bit of beach erosion in front of the condo, but adequate beach space is available very close. 2C is in need of a decorative update including new furniture, but overall a great value for the price!

It was a perfect vacation for Grandmother, daughter and granddaughter. We relaxed, played on the beach and ocean and pool.A bike ride showed native animals deer and alligator which was a thrill for us animal lovers. The condo was perfect and right on the beach as advertised.I would highly recommend this island and this rental.

Great! Not a cloud in the sky the whole time. We were fortunate that low tide occurred midday so we could be on beach. Hard to believe but unit did not have access to wifi so that was an inconvenience. A/C didn't work but was fixed by maintenance. Only reason to not recommend is lack of wifi-everyone expects it now.

We really enjoyed our experience on Isle of Palms. We loved the view and accessibility of the ocean and beach. The condo was clean, but the owners need to add a few more cereal/soup bowls in the kitchen cabinet because there was only two. Also, they need to buy fitted sheets that fit the twin beds because they slip off during the night. These are just minor things. Overall, we had a great stay!
