This four bedroom home has its own private pool, screened-in porch, and stunning rooftop views! 12 2nd Avenue allows you to make the most of Isle of Palms outdoor beauty. You’re just steps away from the Intracoastal Waterway and you’ll have amazing views all day long from your rooftop deck!

Bring the whole family! There’s plenty of seating around the pool to use during the day or night as you hang out poolside and grill up some food on the home’s outdoor gas grill.

If you’d rather cook inside there is an open kitchen and dining area, as well as a spacious living room equipped with a Smart TV (log into your own applications, no cable). Additional amenities to make your stay more comfortable include a separate outdoor shower for rinsing off after a dip in the pool, a washer and dryer (located in shed separate from home), and enclosed changing room/toilet for quick access from the pool.

The spacious master suite includes Smart TV (log into your own applications), easy access to the screened porch and rooftop deck, and a bonus twin daybed for additional sleeping options. The master’s ensuite bathroom has a shower and a separate garden tub (no jets). The other bedrooms have large comfortable beds (2 Queen Beds and 1 King Bed) and easy access to the full bath and half bath on first floor.

I contacted them a week before check in to see if I could get an earlier, they never responded. The women at the desk when checking in were rude, not only to me but witnessed it to other guest trying to check in as well. The house was not cleaned well. There was hair on the walls of the showers and old pee around the toilets.

Great experience. Great location. Great house. Could use some basic "grocery" amenities. Most houses I rent have extra trash bags, or basic cooking items like Oil or some spices. This property didn't anything like that. Seems it's cleaned out after each guest. Other then that the property is awesome and we'd stay there again.

We were very impressed with the full experience. Island Realty made the whole experience very simple, communicated early and provide above and beyond support with things to do, places to visit and where to eat. The house was exactly as described and very clean which was important to us given the current Covid-19 situation. The house had a closed in outside area for evening drinks, a rooftop where we enjoyed watching the sunset and a pool to cool down during the day. The property is within a few minutes walk to the beach. Close to everything it was easy to sightsee, get food in or anything of interest. Plenty of room for the 7 of us that stayed with everything we needed to make it comfortable.

If you're looking for a spot that is a walk to the beach and an easy drive into Downtown, THIS IS YOUR SPOT! A group of 7 of us stayed here for the Charleston Basketball Classic and couldn't recommend it more. Between the screened in 2nd level porch, the crows nest rooftop, and the pool patio, this house has all the outdoor entertaining space you'll ever need. The kitchen and bathrooms are all beautiful and updated. The only thing that could be better(and I'm being petty), is the entertainment center in the living room could be better. Overall, 9.5/10. Thanks, and we'll be back.

We had 8 people stay in this house. 5 adults 3 kids. There is plenty of room and seating for everyone. Kitchen is well stocked unlike other places I’ve stayed. The redone bathroom on the first floor was a nice surprise this year. Be aware the tub is no longer on first floor. We didn’t miss it. Location is great. Just a short walk to the beach and the private pool is very nice. No issues during our stay. Property is clean and well maintained.

This house was almost perfect for our family (5 adults, 4 children under 8). There was plenty of room for everyone. It was clean, the beds were comfortable and we appreciated the large dining room table. The kids loved the pool and were able to walk to the beach without complaint. We did get a lot of bug bites while in the yard, don't know if the owners use "Mosquito Squad" but it would be great if they did. The pool man came on Wednesday, the lawn was cut on Thursday so the pool was full of grass clippings the day after it was cleaned. Plenty of dishes, glasses, silverware, the skillets weren't in great shape but we always bring our own. The bath towels were thick, not the usual paper thin things we've had in other rentals. The screened porch was quite comfortable with the fan on even on the hottest days. We would have liked some bunkbeds to make sleeping arrangements a little easier for the kids but not many IOP rentals have them. We would have loved to stay in 12 2nd Avenue forever.

The pool was a hit with the kids and everyone was happy with the comfy beds. Close to so many places to visit -- great location to beach as well. Island Realty was super helpful on various things and always available. Only advice: Closely read parking rules for Isle of Palms, especially the residential parking rules if you do not park in the driveway. Overall, we had a great experience and would book this house again!

Best house ever! Plenty of room for a full contingent of 7 adults, 3 small children and a new baby. The furniture was comfortable and good quality. Screen porch, sundeck and pool deck all had great furniture and cushions - a new experience for us! Pool was fantastic. We watched the meteor shower from the top deck and viewed sunsets over the Bay each evening. The house was clean but the only down side was that the recycle bin was overflowing when we arrived and never emptied during our 8 day stay, which meant our recycles had to pile up in the driveway which was unsightly and not ideal. We called several times without remedy. Otherwise, we had no complaints.

The location was convenient to many Charleston attractions. The walk to the beach was approximately 1/4 mile and was pleasant in the evenings. Home was well furnished with room to spread out. The pool was a big hit for children and adults. We would stay at this home again.

Overall, we liked the house but there were a few things we wished it had. We were vacationing with 4 children aged 5 ,3, 21 mos and 20 mos. so we had a lot of groceries but no storage space in the kitchen cabinets to put them. The first floor has 3 bedrooms with one small bathroom providing the only shower on that floor for all the bedrooms. The furniture was comfortable, the house was mostly clean although we found popcorn under the living room sofa and a pair of sunglasses behind the bedroom dresser. The pool was great although there isn't much shallow water and the drop off to deeper water is pretty quick so if you have little ones, be particularly vigilant. The distance to the beach was walkable for the 5 year old, but not the other children. This house would be great for adults and families with school age children and I would rent it again in a few years when the children are older. If you're looking for a good breakfast try Acme Lowcountry Kitchen, best breakfast on the island.

This was a great property for a girls getaway. The house was clean and in a great location. The pool was supplied with enough chairs for all to relax. I would recommend staying here if you are looking for a property close to Sullivan's Island.

Answer:

- When leaving this property from the driveway, turn left onto 2nd Ave and then an immediate left onto Carolina Blvd. At the end of the block, take a right and follow 3rd Ave. for 2 blocks - it will then dead end into the beach access point located on Ocean Blvd (the sand path will be marked)!

- There are also many streets that allow for beach parking (as long as all 4 tires are off of the pavement - there will be posted signs) throughout the neighborhoods if you would like to try and get a few blocks closer.

- If you would rather have a designated parking spot, you can look into the Isle of Palms County Park. There is parking with access to the beach. Just be mindful of what time of the year you will be visiting as the County Park lot often fills up early in the morning during peak summer months.
