We are a family of 13 and this was the second year in this house. The room layout was great. The two master bedrooms worked well for the two families with a toddler and the bunk room was great for the older kids. The kitchen is well stocked and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The centrally located was great to walk to coffee or to play pickleball and close beach access.

Grand Pavilion 50 on Isle of Palms was the perfect location for our extended family vacation. The house is well appointed and spacious enough for 4 families. It is steps away from the beach and 2 pools. The beds were so comfy and the kitchen had everything you need. The house was clean and all appliances worked. When a lightbulb went out, maintenance was there within the hour to fix it! Island realty was fantastic to work with - very responsive and ensured we were able to get checked in after hours. We already rebooked for next year.

Our family of 11 including 7 adults and 4 teenagers called 50 Grand Pavillion for one wonderful week. The home had everything we needed, close to the beach and community pools, wonderful amenities including restaurants, ice cream shop, and an alligator. We had a minor problem, and the hall light was repaired within hours, the management company is very responsive. This is a wonderful area, we are booking again for next summer.

This house was the perfect house for our long weekend stay. The house was only a short walk from the water, which made beach days great! There’s also restaurants and stores in walking distance which made the weekend even more enjoyable. The house itself was clean, spacious, and accommodated all our needs. Can’t wait to come back :)

Very convenient location to everything, lots of room to spread out, love the large refrigerator and freezer and stovetop. Comfortable beds. 2 king bedrooms are very large. 2 queen bedrooms are a little small. Island realty was great, had an A/C issue fixed within 2 hours of check in. Only suggestion is that it is showing its age some (bedspreads, rugs, areas in kitchen). We had a great family vacation there!

We have stayed at this out twice and it is amazing. I never leave reviews on anything but this place is so great I had to. I would highly recommend it for anyone that is taking a trip with another family. There is plenty of space and things to do. Beach is only a 2-3 minute walk through the beautiful courtyard. Pool is on the beach as well.

The house is beautiful and very convenient to the beach. Our party consisted of four couples and we never felt cramped. We loved the chiefs kitchen and it was very well stocked. The property was clean and well-maintained.

I would recommend adding more hair dryers and would have been more convenient with a garage code. Otherwise, the house is great and would return.

We loved this house, the proximity to the beach and the Grand Pavilion access. The two downstairs seating areas was perfect for our group of adults AND kids... and you could see the ocean from the side window in the kitchen nook. The massive fridge and freezer, huge stove, double dishwashers... all amazing. Perfect for big family. The only negatives - there is NO access to pantry and no locks on bathrooms or bedrooms (or there’s some special way to use it we couldn’t figure out). Our groups dry good groceries sat on the counter taking up most of the space all week, which wasn’t ideal, but we made it work. Otherwise, we all thought the house was fantastic and very pretty. We all felt right at home. We would stay there again and hopefully next time we could have some designated cabinet/pantry space.

side note: Island Realty is also the best rental company in the biz. We’ve rented from many and their customer service is so amazing. We keep coming back to them.

Overall a good experience. We were bumped out of our normal place on IOP because the location would usually stayed on the beach was sold and the new owners did not rent. Thankfully Island rental found us this. This was our first time on Wild Dunes. Plenty of things to do at the resort. As for the house, there is plenty of space and bedrooms. Two dishwashers was great. And the gas stovetop was huge and easy to use. Just some minor issues such as; The house is blocked on each side by other houses which keeps any breeze from coming across the screened in porch, turning it into a sauna. A ceiling fan would resolve this. The microwave oven was high with a pull down door making it hard for short women to get things in or out. The ice makers could not keep up with the demand. None of the bedroom doors or bathrooms locked. The Grand Pavilion was just a short walk away and was great for eating, drinking and sitting out in a covered area with a breeze. Overall, a good experience.

The location for this stay couldn’t be better! It’s only a short walk to the beach, pools and boardwalk.
The home is beautiful with fun decorations and fully stocked with cooking supplies. The beds are comfortable and TVS are the perfect size! Which is rare in a vacation home. We really enjoyed our stay!
Note the pool at both the Boardwalk and Sweetgrass are not available to use with this rental. I recommend bringing extra paper towels, garbage bags and TP if your there for a week. They only supply a limited amount.

This house was well appointed. There wasn't anything there that we needed to cook, etc. We were drawn to this because it had two king beds and two queen beds. Although we didn't use it they also had a bunk bed room with 4 twins for children if needed. One queen bed was on main floor which was perfect for my sister who has trouble using stairs. You had a partial ocean view, the weather the week after Christmas ended up being perfect. We had fun playing tennis and golf and could actually walk to tennis courts and also renting bikes. A great week at a great house in a great location!

We loved this beautiful beach house. It had plenty of room for the 3 families that stayed. It was decorated very nice and had lots of amenities. Very close to pool and beaches. The only negative was that we saw a few roaches throughout the week and our towels smelled like smoke until we washed them. I would rent this location again, but with caution only because of the roaches (not Palmetto bugs) we saw.

This was the perfect vacation house for my active family. We could walk to the tennis courts, the golf club, the pool, and the beach. When we weren't out, the house was a wonderful place to congregate in comfort. The kitchen had superb appliances for the chefs and we had a great time at family dinners and playing games at the large dining room table.

We had a wonderful time in Wild Dunes. The house was perfect for us. We had 12 people - 3 families. The 2 master bedrooms were very big. The other 2 bedrooms were smaller. The bedroom on the first level was perfect. We enjoyed Charleston and I would recommend the trip. We never used or even picked up the sportcard. I had wished things - like tennis were more reasonably priced. Thus, we didn't use it. We brought our own bikes too and enjoyed the easy riding.

Check in was easy. Then, when we got to the house we were very happy. The house was decorated beautifully. There was lots of space. Great porches for hanging out and talking. One of the only houses we could see with a top porch for sunning. Only a block or so from the beach. Easy walk; took maybe a minute or two. House was equipped with everything we needed: wine glasses, dishes, cutting board, etc. we did have to make a run to the store for toilet paper, because the amount provided at the house ran out.
Highly recommend this property.
Also, we were able to get additional parking passes by calling the security gate - not a problem. However extra cars had to park elsewhere, as only 4 could fit in the driveway.
FYI no beach view but overlooks pretty courtyard.

Well if you like a great kitchen with all the bells and whistles, then you will love this house. It was very comfortable for a big family . There were even two dishwashers and a giant refrigerator. Nicely decorated.

We have been planning to take our family (all adults) on a vacation for a year. This place works out great because it has the best bedroom configuration for adults. Overall, things worked out great. The real estate staff was helpful. My only wish is that they would provide a few of the necessities such as paper products, soap, etc. so you don't have to run to the store to buy a bottle of stuff for one use.
