The house was great! Very clean, plenty of space for our families! The pool is smaller but with the beach so close it was a great option to cool off. This is in the heart of Isle of Palms. Walkable to restaurants and shopping which is so great!! Lots of fun people watching from our balcony too. If you love to be in the mix and don’t mind street noise it’s a great spot. The beach access is right across the street and the beach was super clean too!

We had family come in from 3 different locations and this house was the perfect place for everyone. 3 'master bedrooms' each with it's own bathroom were ideal for parents, and the other 2 rooms were perfect for the kids. The bunk room was smaller than expected so we swapped rooms and had kids share the two queen beds which worked great. Plenty of space for all and the kitchen was exactly what was needed to make dinners every night.

We had an awesome time. Rooms were spacious and nice. Location was perfect! There could have been more stocked items though. Toilet paper was almost out. Paper towels, garbage bags, laundry detergent, etc had to be purchased by us. Also, no beach towels and when traveling via plane to get somewhere you don’t want to pack a beach towel to take up room.

This house was beautiful inside. The outside shower is an enclosure beside the parking area that is under the house; therefore, sunbathers can take a shower and then go upstairs without being seen. Located on the corner of Ocean Blvd with beach access across the street beside Windjammer. Several great bands played there Thurs-Sunday but the music stops at 10:00. Several restaurants & coffee shop are within walking distance.

This was a great spot for a girls trip with friends.We had a total of 10 guests in the house which was perfect so that the only shared beds were the king sized beds (and we didn't need top bunks). There was a little bit of opened food in the pantry from previous guests when we arrived which was a little bit of a bummer.House was great, accurate description on the website.Loved the porch on the middle level off the kitchen. We had two issues with toilets and the property manager took care of them within a few hours of letting them know. There are a few (2-3) beach chairs at the property which would have been nice to know before renting on the beach.Having Windjammer across the street was great for us as we were happy for the music but this might be a problem for a family with small children who need to go to sleep early (loud music can be heard from the house).Big tour bus parked directly in front of the house one night which was a little annoying. Also consider the amount of stairs in this property if anyone would struggle with that. LOTS of steps! Great location, walking distance to little cafes and restaurants. So easy to walk right to the beach (5 minute walk across the street). Would definitely return to this property!

We had the most pleasant experience staying at Ocean 1001. The house is very cute, spacious and clean. Island realty was very easy to work with. If we had any questions, they were quick to respond and help us out! House is equipped with keurig, regular coffee and blender, plus laundry. We also enjoyed the multiple patios! You can see the water from them! The near-by area is very fun - fun restaurants to check out (we tried Lawerence and Coconut Joes!) and had fun at the Windjammer right across the street. Plenty of beach access areas nearby, and the beach was beautiful!

The house was absolutely perfect, from the location, furnishings, decor, balconies and roof top deck! I would highly recommend this house and would definitely stay here again! If I had one criticism, it would be the TVs could be updated. The cost of the rental is pretty steep, so you would think they could spend $300 on a new smart tv for the master bedroom instead of the old tube tv that is in there.

We all had a great time. The house was at a good location and well equipped. By way of feedback the kitchen had two dishwashers but the one in the island did not work. The other one served us well. Being a bit older the one challenge was all the steps but being up is necessary during storms.

Of course I'd rather be ocean front and just step out onto a sandy beach from my back door, but unless you have a couple of gold bars tucked away in your mattress this property is a great alternative. Be warned this is NOT the place for you if you have trouble climbing stairs. There are stairs to the first floor (bedrooms, laundry), stairs to the second floor (bedrooms, kitchen, living room, and there are more stairs to the top deck patio with beautiful view of the ocean just across the street. Having 4 parking spots under the house was also fabulous. The living room/kitchen/dining room was a huge space for everybody to hang out.

This area of IOP is SO much more convenient than staying in Wild Dunes all the way down to the end of the island.

Be aware there is a bar/restaurant next door The Dinghy) that played some loud music in the evenings but I think it subsided by 9:30 pm or so.

The pool is shared with 4 or 5 other houses in thie little complex and was limited to 6 persons while we were there, and there were some young kids in there who excitedly showed us how to bypass the entrance lock - which made me think maybe they weren't supposed to be there.

Awesome beach week for a group of 10!

This is our third straight year coming to this house, and it is very fresh, well-maintained, and comfortably furnished.

The location is convenient to stores and restaurants in IOP.

I would recommend checking if the pool has been reopened if that is a priority for your group.

Awesome house except king bed killed my back and bedroom TVs were tube and positioned far from the bed. LR tv required us to lift heads 180 degrees to see screen. Location is perfect. An elevator would have been nice as we are all over 60. All of these issues were minor. We would love to rent again if any of these issues can be addressed.

We headed to Isle of Palms expecting a lengthy check-in process and the problems that we frequently run into with rentals...a dirty property, inadequately supplied and not looking anything like the photos. Man, were we pleasantly surprised. Check in took literally moments and was conveniently located just onto the island. The house is beautiful, clean and very well appointed! The location could not have been any better, across from The Dinghy and around the corner from Acme Lowcountry Cafe. Our only issue all week was a slow drain in one of the baths and it was handled very quickly. I will definitely use Island Realty again and strongly recommend the beautiful home at Ocean Blvd 1001

I would not recommend the house for a larger group, as the main living area would not, in my opinion, comfortably accommodate a group of 12. In addition, the bedroom with the bunk beds was not usable, do to being several degrees warmer than the rest of the house.

The furniture in the master bedroom was not very functional for holding clothes. The dresser had drawers that fell in when they were opened. So, we lived out of our suitcases for the week.

The TV in the main living area was extremely finicky - hard to change channels.

This house was perfect for our annual "girls trip/reunion." Well appointed kitchen, beautifully furnished home and plenty of space, with a bed for everyone! Could not be better located (however, our stay was over Memorial Day Weekend and you could certainly hear the festivities at the neighboring bars across the street). This house could not have been better for our group!!

My friends and I stayed here for a golf trip. We had plenty of room and loved all of the amenities the home offered. Great location, near some great restaurants/bars, and of course the beach. I would recommend this place to large families and groups!

We arrived at our vacation destination to find a lovely house for our stay. Although the great proximity to the beach, there were some downfalls. The house is lovely, in nice condition, but had lots of trouble with the icemaker and one of the dishwasher. The most concerning was the garbage(recyclables)full and all over the grounds. After several attempts to have them removed, we were told to just use the trash can. It is a rather large house that accommodates 12 plus people and to never have the use of the can was annoying. The management group was friendly and tried to accommodate our request, but never really handled it.

What is the cancellation policy for this property?

You can cancel your reservation; however, you will not get a refund unless the property is re-rented for the same dates and rate as your reservation.

Island Realty has a 10% cancellation fee, and the remainder of your deposit is held pending re-rental of the property.

If you are paid-in-full for the reservation, all money will be held until we can re-rent the property. If the property is not re-booked, the entire balance will be forfeited to Island Realty, regardless of whether or not a full deposit was made at the time of booking.

Are golf carts permitted through Beach Access 9? Is there golf cart parking at the beach?

Golf cart LSVs are not permitted to be driven or parked on the beach. They may only be parked at beach access paths when there is a sign indicating that Golf Cart parking is permissible. Street-legal golf carts may park in regular car parking spots as well as any of the 'Golf Cart Only' spots. For easy beach access, designated 'Golf Cart Only' parking spots can be found at 9th Ocean Blvd., 25th Ave., 28th Ave., and 31st Ave., along Palm Blvd. on IOP. Additional golf cart parking is available at the corner of Ocean Blvd. and JC Long Blvd, as well as the IOP Marina.

IOP has posted signs to show where it is ok to park. Please note - Isle of Palms has 'residential only' parking on various side streets during certain hours of the day, depending on the season. Please adhere to the posted signage to avoid getting a parking ticket.

Are beach towels and/or a beach supplies wagon available at the house?
