Employee Spotlight - Owner Representative, Kylie

For the past 45+ years, our team of local and knowledgeable employees has had its hand in shaping this small, family-owned business into the trusted company it is today. This year, we want to take the time to introduce you to our incredible staff. They work behind the scenes to ensure that you have the best vacation experience possible, but it's time to find out a little more about who they are in and out of the office. 

Today, we would like to introduce Kylie, one of our Owner Representatives for the Short-Term Rental Department. We had the opportunity to sit down and get to know her a little better. 

Since August of 2023.

I'm an Owner Representative for the Short-Term Rental Department. I specialize in the Sea Cabin and Oceanside communities. 

Getting to know the owners in my portfolio and helping them achieve the goals they have for their properties. Also, speaking with guests to ensure they had a good stay with Island Realty. There's a lot of communication with the other teams like housekeeping and maintenance to make sure each stay is successful!

I love the amount of workload given. I have always been a hard worker but being able to stay busy is good for me! I also love that I can bring my dog Gunner to the office with me! He always brings a smile to everyone's face.

I have been working on Isle of Palms since 2014, working for all sorts of different companies in a variety of roles. I have vacationed on the island and this is my happy place. I love the island vibes and wouldn't want to work anywhere else!

I like to go for walks on the beach with my dog, Gunner, go to the beach with friends when it is hot outside, and I enjoy anything art-related! Anything DIY, I love to do! I also enjoy happy hours at just about any place in the Lowcountry as well as shopping in downtown Charleston! 

Poe's Tavern on Sullivan's Island is the best place to go for a local hamburger & glass of sweet tea! It is not too far from the office and although they may have a wait time, it is always worth the wait!

I'm a bit biased when it comes to favorite properties since I work so closely with many of our Isle of Palms condos, but I really love Sea Cabin 326. It was recently renovated with the most beautiful furnishings and it looks like it came straight out of a magazine! Plus you can't beat the close proximity to the beach that you get when you stay at a Sea Cabin!
