On October 5th, get ready to enjoy a race with a breathtaking view! As an active sponsor, we are proud to promote the 27th Annual Isle of Palms Connector Run & Walk for the Child! Whether you enjoy competing in challenging races, or you are looking for a fun activity to get the whole family involved, the IOP Connector 5k and 10k races are the perfect weekend activity.

Race Day Schedule

Saturday, October 5
6 am - 8 am: Race participants, volunteers, and fans arrive on the Isle of Palms for the race.
6:30 am: Race Day late registration and packet pick up opens at the Public Safety Building (30 J.C. Long Boulevard, Isle of Palms, SC)
7 am: The Isle of Palms Connector closes to all traffic. Use the Sullivan's Island and Ben Sawyer Bridge to access the race.
8 am: RACE START is at the intersection of J.C. Long Boulevard and Palm Boulevard.
9 am: Post Race Celebration begins! Join us for live music, beer garden, awards ceremony, sponsor tents and kid's entertainment.
11:30 am: Isle of Palms Connector opens to traffic (after all participants have safely completed the race).
12 pm: Enjoy the island and the beautiful Isle of Palms beach.
After all the hard work, top it all off with the post-race party! Enjoy live music, kids' entertainment, awards, and complimentary beer (for 21+ with ID) from the beer garden all on the island!
