27th Annual Reindeer Run
For the people who enjoy running or walking in 5k's, this local event is perfect for you! Find your favorite holiday gear and meet downtown for the 27th Annual Reindeer Run on December 2 on East Bay Street! This tradition takes place right at the beginning of the Christmas season and is the perfect start to December. Enjoy the views of downtown Charleston. All proceeds from the race will be donated to local charities.
Isle of Palms Holiday Street Festival
Conveniently located right on Isle of Palms, kick off the holiday season and head down to Front Beach on Isle of Palms on December 2, from 2:00 – 7:00 PM and help ring in the Christmas season, island style with the Isle of Palms Street Festival! Enjoy live music, carnival rides, craft vendors and even a visit from Santa Claus, at this FREE event. The celebration is perfect for the whole family and friends. Around 5:30 PM the City of Isle of Palms will officially light the 24" tree on Front Beach!
City of Charleston Holiday Parade
Get the best of both world this Christmas season – the beach and the City of Charleston! Nothing will boost your holiday spirit more than the Annual City of Charleston Holiday Parade. Starting on Broad Street and moving through to Calhoun Street, enjoy the festive sites of different floats and much more on December 3, from 2:00-4:00 PM!

22nd Annual Mount Pleasant Christmas Light Parade and Tree Lighting
Make time for an incredible Christmas Parade on Mount Pleasant on Sunday, December 10 from 5:30 – 8:00 PM! Over 100 delightful floats will make their way down Coleman Boulevard from Shem Creek to Camellia Drive. Prior to the parade, the lighting of the Mount Pleasant Christmas Tree and a fireworks display will take place!
