Celebrating The New Year in Charleston

We are just a couple of weeks away from the end of another year! If you are going to be in the Charleston area this New Year's Eve, we have put together a list of the celebrations happening around town. These events range from casual celebrations to elegant black-tie affairs so no matter if you prefer to dress up or dress down, there is sure to be an event perfect for you!

Charleston Wonderland has been the premiere Charleston New Year's Eve event for the past 10 years! It features an all-inclusive bar, a diverse array of circus performers, outstanding live bands and DJs, cutting-edge audio/visual technology, and so much more. From a champagne toast and Charleston's largest balloon drop at midnight to specialty photo booths, this event is truly exceptional.

Just down the street from Island Realty, Islander 71 Fish House and Raw Bar welcomes you to ring in the New Year on Isle of Palms! They're hosting two exclusive New Year's Eve events: a four-course dinner in their elegant dining room as well as a rooftop New Year's Eve Party! Kick off the night at 8 PM and party until 1 AM on their heated rooftop deck. Enjoy a welcome cocktail, light bites, a DJ spinning all night, and a champagne toast at midnight.

Immerse yourself in a night of enchantment and adventure under the stars at the "Masquerade of Wonders"! Patrons will be encouraged to explore a multitude of indoor/outdoor 'wonders' across the expansive, adults-only campus.

• Dress code: 'Dress to Impress' with masquerade masks. Guests should wear what makes them comfortable and have some fun getting into the theme - including full costumes if they so wish!

Join us at Prohibition for a night of festive fun, delicious drinks, and non-stop music by DJ Jerry Feels Good. Enjoy light hors d'oeuvres and a champagne toast at midnight as we ring in the new year together.

This 2025 NYE celebration will feature one of Forte Jazz Lounge's most popular musical groups: Legacy! Their specialty is singing the great classic Motown, R&B, and Soul songs from the 60s, 70s & 80s. Along with an amazing band, included with your ticket is a champagne toast, a buffet provided by DJ's Southern Kitchen, and party favors.

As the clock counts down to midnight, explore the city's hottest bars and venues, lively DJs, creative cocktails, and unbeatable vibes. With your ticket, you'll enjoy waived cover fees, fantastic drink specials, and a digital map that guides you to each venue on the crawl.

Join us for an unforgettable night of celebration at Charleston's favorite nightlife venue - Republic Garden & Lounge! Attendees can enjoy an open bar from 9:00 PM - 1:00 AM as well as tray-passed hors d'oeurves from 9-10 pm. As the clock counts down to midnight, prepare to be dazzled with party favors and our live ball drop. The atmosphere will be electrified with local favorite, DJ Dollamenu all night long! New Year's Eve at Aquarium Aglow is back and bringing the fun before this year is done with an evening celebration full of festivity, music, and a special ball drop. Join us for a family-friendly party illuminated by tens of thousands of lights as we toast to the memories made this year and look forward to the opportunities of the future. Refreshments, including a selection of adult beverages, will be available for purchase.

This event will include a stilt walker, fairy hair, a DJ, and a ball drop - all before bedtime!

Ring in the New Year with an unforgettable celebration as Sorelle bids arrivederci to 2024! Guests are invited to indulge in an array of Italian-inspired delights spread across the Mercato, Wine Room, Bar, and Lounge. Enjoy elegant passed canapés, wood-fired Neapolitan pizza, fresh shellfish, imported Italian salumi and cheeses, hand-carved prime rib, and an assortment of sweet treats and gelato. Live music will set the tone for the evening, fueling the festivities as you raise a glass to 2025 with handcrafted cocktails, sommelier-curated wines, and plenty of Champagne.

The famous Folly Beach Flip-Flop Drop will once again provide a family-friendly way to ring in the New Year. Center Street will be close to traffic as revelers enjoy local restaurants and family-friendly festivities. A spectacular fireworks display over the beach will take place around 7:00 PM, followed by the huge, sparkly flip-flops descending to mark the stroke of midnight and the beginning of the new year.
