Trondossa Music and Arts Festival
April 27 & 28, 2019 – Riverfront Park – N. Charleston, SC
Trondossa Music and Arts Festival is a relaxed all-ages festival set right amongst the lush Cooper River waterside. The two stages will feature both local artists and some of the best live acts touring today. In addition to incredible music, you can walk around and enjoy the unique merchandise of local artisans and culinary creations of Charleston chefs.
North Charleston Arts Festival
May 1 – 5, 2019 – N. Charleston, SC
Explore and experience national, regional, and local artists of all disciplines at the North Charleston Arts Festival! Selected as a May Top 20 Event by the Southeast Tourism Society in 2018, this is a festival you won't want to miss! There are over 100 events over these five days, so there's plenty to see and do. The festival's flagship event is the World Arts Fest Expo at the Charleston Area Convention Center which celebrates visual and performing arts from around the world.
Spoleto Festival USA
May 24 – June 9, 2019 – Multiple Venues – Charleston, SC
This 17 day long festival captivates the Charleston community every year. Dating back to 1977 this festival began as a counterpart to the Festival dei Due Mondi (The Festival of Two Worlds) in Spoleto, Italy and has become the premier arts festival in America. The Spoleto Festival includes over 150 performances of opera, theater, classical music, jazz, and dance. Embracing the talents of both young and renowned artists from all over the globe, Spoleto curates a dynamic venue for all type of creatives.
Piccolo Spoleto Festival
May 24 – June 9, 2019 – Multiple Venues – Charleston, SC
While you're in town enjoying Spoleto Festival USA, be sure to check out some of the events hosted by Piccolo Spoleto! While Spoleto Festival USA features artists from all over the world, Piccolo Spoleto focuses on artists of the Southeast region of the US. With visual arts exhibits, classical music, jazz, dance, theatre and more, there is sure to be something for everyone!
Summer of Potter Film Series
June 10, 2019 – August 5, 2019 – Charleston Music Hall – Charleston, SC
If you are still waiting on your letter to Hogwarts, don't worry, The Charleston Music Hall is putting on a magical series this summer that will make you feel like you're in the Wizarding World. As you enter the hall you will be sorted into your proper house. Then you can visit the Three Broomsticks bar for some magical cocktails and treats. Once you are all set up, you can join all of the other wizards, witches, and magical creatures to enjoy all eight Harry Potter films throughout the summer.
