Why Do Renovations Matter?

As winter comes to a close, we are gearing up for another great vacation season here on Isle of Palms!

Many of our owners have taken advantage of the slower months to replace their flooring, and get new mattresses, couches, kitchen appliances, and more! All of these things get the most wear and tear from weekly renters, and making these updates makes a huge difference in how desirable the property is. Renovations and updates make a better experience for the guest and more bookings for the owner!

So why do these renovations matter? It can best be seen with some recent examples of before and after renovation transformations!

Oceanfront condos will always be a popular choice, so what does it take to stand out from the crowd? An open-plan kitchen with all-new granite countertops and three bar stools at the island bar allow for memory-making in the kitchen. It's a perfect place to store luggage or shoes! A beautifully refreshed kitchen area features brand-new granite countertops and updated appliances.

This spectacular luxury home measures up to an impressive 4000+ sq ft, where the kitchen overlooks a large oversized dining table (seats 10) and a spacious living room with massive windows with views of the pool from every angle. The kitchen offers additional seating at the breakfast bar as well as a large pantry with an extra refrigerator offering overflow for large families. Its recent renovation now allows for more open space that flows through to the living room.
